Publisher's Summary

After a wildfire took everything from her, Emily Hall made do surviving as a homeless human by day and as an owl at night. When one of the men responsible for infecting her with lycanthropy comes winging his way back into her life, she must choose between revenge or resuming a normal life.

Until Daniel’s return, she never dreamed she might be able to have both.

Warning: This novella contains excessive humor, romance, action, adventure, and puns. No plots were injured during production but don’t ask about the wood chipper. Some things are best left unspoken.

Sweet story

When I saw the short time frame of this book I thought it might be just an intro but I was happy to find out it was a full story. I enjoyed the sweet but direct story.

Funny

Another audio by RJ Blaine is not disappointing at all. I have never heard of humor like I listened to in this story that deals with planning a murder and financing at the sametime. It was so enjoyable to be able to escape, laugh from the real world.

one of my favorites

I have read this and I have listened to it a couple of times I don't know what it is about the story that I like so much. I love the characters the female lead she's strong even though she's had things happen she's taking it the best she can. The guy he's great too he's looked for her he struggled with what happened even though he tried to prevent it. He's really trying to do right by her. And actually it just works. It may be googly owls to see what they were really like and how big they really were

DNF-narrator

I cannot finish this book. It may be the best book ever. It may suck. I wouldn't know because I cannot get past the narrator. Her monotone "male" voice remains the same regardless of what emotions shes supposed to portray. The "heroine" voice is grating. The "story" voice is like I've sped it up to 2x the speed. Giving the book 4 stars because a) I rarely give a 5 unless it is a repeat read and b) the author shouldn't be penalized because I hate the way it has been recorded.
