Publisher's summary

Hundreds of thousands of copies sold. Lightning-paced supernatural action. Readers describe it as "the most original supernatural series in ages".

Meet Justin Case.

Atlanta is ground zero for a supernatural invasion. Enter Justin Case, a snarky nerd with all the sex appeal and heroic potential of a potato. That is until he comes into his demonic powers and finds out everybody hates demon spawn. The problem? He might be the last hope for uniting the Overworld and saving us all.

Sweet Blood of Mine

The origin story that started it all. Justin finds out there's a lot more to life than live-action role playing and a pursuit of nerdly adventures. Vampires, felycans, lycans, sorcerers, and Templars all exist. The problem is, Justin isn't one of them. He's something else. Something terrible. And the girl he falls in love with may be sworn to kill him.

Dark Light of Mine

Hellhounds and demon spawn are out for blood. Justin's father is marked for death.

Justin and Elyssa have to track down the mysterious person behind it all before it's too late.

Fallen Angel of Mine

During an escape from the gray men, Justin and Elyssa are stranded in Thunder Rock with a notorious Daemas, Kassallandra. They find a way out, but Justin is separated, thrown through a broken Obsidian Arch, and ends up in Colombia where he'll face his greatest challenge yet.

Meanwhile, Elyssa is captured by her father. He hates Daemos and hates Justin and wants to put her through a ritual that will erase all memories of Justin.

Death can't stop true love, but a mind wipe probably will.

Urban Fantasy at its Best

A combination of clever world building, imaginative plots, and surprisingly relatable characters make The Overworld Chronicles a great read. Add the fun of it being set in the Atlanta of today, with clearly recognizable landmarks, and it's a pleasure. The icing on the cake is the 36+ hours for a single credit the box set format affords. A win all the way around!

Written for mental midgets

This book is written for high school age kids. I liked the story line but it was written to connect with and be understood by kids. I made it through the first two books of the three book set and gave up, due to the constant unbelieveablity of the characters actions in relation to the situation they are in.

decent story line and great narrator

The narrative is based on a come to age novel, of a high school outcast, who has the heart in the right place, but not the wits or brons to do nothing to change the status quo ... and here comes the paranormal incidents, that start giving to our hero the necessary push to make a difference.
I don't like the mc since during the entire book he shows himself as a wimp. when the incidences ask for a inmidiete action, he react pretty well.. h
How if he gets time to think he is a downer, filled with negativity.
I hope that in the next book we can she an improvement on his leadership attitudes

Good book with a compelling story

I purchased this audiobook on a whim and I wasn't let down. I was hooked within the first hour and couldn't put it down. I have seen a lot of biased reviews about this series, but it is a good book with well built characters and a somewhat rich history and mythos.

Soldier bought this because SJW

Heather,

You can take your social justice warrior stance and shove it.
It’s a book and just because you don’t like gender roles that by the way work doesn’t mean it’s sexist. It’s fantasy book. But the author should thank you I bought book solely to because of you.

Cheers

I don't know

Why is it that in most stories that has a main character with powers at some point they lose their power and/or one of the enemies without powers instantly receives stronger powers than the main character

Pretty good story.

Overall I enjoyed the first 3 books. The voices were overall pretty good. He really seemed to struggle with all of Justin's sarcasm and jokes. Made me kringe.
