A relisten

I have read this series in the past and when I saw it free with my romance package, I had to give another listen. Just as good as the first time!

Slightly disappointed. not sure why, had a hard time getting through this one Boris and Gen back and forth way too much.. and Gene??

I love the series

I love this series, but the voices of the caracters dosnt doit for me. Wish the vliced were better

Yummy smexy...Moose?

I was very curious about Boris and Jan after the first book. Things are left hanging and you have to wonder what happened there. This brings you up to speed, picking up with the car accident and Jan separating from Tammy. You get to see what happened with her and when she meets up with Boris.

I love Jan and the way she tries temper being a lady with her bada$$ gun totting side. She is a riot when she decides not to hide her tough chick side. Man, if you could mix Donna Reed with The Bride from Kill Bill, then you would have Jan. She is more than a little awesome. The banter with Boris is fabulous.

Boris has numerous issues to overcome, the biggest is his PTSD. Thankfully he comes to his senses and seizes his gal. Definitely the perfect pairing. Mix in the bit with her parents and you will be rolling!

There is some delightful smexy action happening, cause true mates just can’t keep their hands off for too long. Yummy Alpha shifter is my favorite flavor!! Have the ice cream ready!

The side plot with Gene gets interesting, because we start to see more of him and find out his motivations. Ya might be surprised at how they all end up.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Chandra Skyye, who I really liked on the first book. This book wasn't quite a love fest for my ears. She just did weird things with Jan’s dialogue. More often than not she made her sound immature and a touch whiny, which is not the character at all. It was mostly only at the spoken lines, the overall narrative was smooth and a great tone. Maybe she was trying to go too far away from the Tammy voice in the last book. I just wish she had made other choices, perhaps more snarky.

I am very interested in seeing what happens in the next book. I am hooked on Kodiak Point!! I really hope all the rest of the audio is coming soon!!

Very funny

Lived it it was funny and entertaining even my husband started to listen to it and got a laugh out of it

Foxy Lady

This is book 2 in the series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful HEA. One stubborn moose does not stand a chance against a attic fox. The narrator does a great job of making the characters come to life. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Happy reading.
