Kevin Estela teaches survival skills from this feeder-based perspective, which is what separates his teaching style from other wilderness instructors. Kevin has written the quintessential guide for an outdoor enthusiast's "bucket list" of skills - how to make a fire, build a shelter, gather food, find water, use a knife correctly, and make cordage.

very basic
A lot of general advice at the very basic level. Nothing exact, just you need a survival mindset... and so on.

Good place to start
This book gives you a good overview of what you'll need to know in order to survive. It isn't a complete guide, but for anybody first starting out and not sure what all they need to learn it gives a good 101 overview so you can figure out what you still need to learn.

Basics
If you’ve never thought about or read about the topic and want an overview, this may have some use to you. If you have any experience at all, go ahead and skip, as this had very entry level information.

Great information!
This is a bunch of great information for staying alive and wilderness survival. I did take a wilderness survival when I was in the boy scouts, and it always is a good idea to have a refresher once in a while, and this audio did a good job of that.
