Publisher's summary

Our Wagon Train's One Special Christmas Eve Along The Oregon Trail is a beautiful story about a young woman traveling west on a wagon train. She looks after the children and others before she does herself, but always tries to write in her journal. It's her way of talking to God. During the trip they all have to contend with one bad apple, the weather setting in, and the splitting up of the wagon train because of a child's injuries and need for rest. It all comes to a head one Christmas eve towards the end of their journey when they come to realize once again, what the evening really means.

Wonderful example of unwavering faith!

Where does Our Wagon Train's One Special Christmas Eve Along the Oregon Trail rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is another one that ranks right at the top for its encouragement for keeping faith in God no matter how dire one's circumstances.

What did you like best about this story?

The forgiveness offered is how we should strive to live our lives. The Bible says forgive 70 times 7, which is humanly impossible without faith in God (Matthew 18:22).

What does Joe Smith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mr. Smith's portrayal of the characters' voices was so moving. I felt as if I were there in the circle of wagons right along with them, experiencing their fears and triumphs. His voice was perfect for this story!
