By the time Sanders' campaign came to a close, however, it was clear that the pundits had gotten it wrong. Bernie had run one of the most consequential campaigns in the modern history of the country. He had received more than 13 million votes in primaries and caucuses throughout the country and won 22 states, and more than 1.4 million people had attended his public meetings. Most important, he showed that the American people were prepared to take on the greed and irresponsibility of corporate America and the 1 percent.

In Our Revolution, Sanders shares his personal experiences from the campaign trail, recounting the details of his historic primary fight and the people who made it possible. And for the millions looking to continue the political revolution, he outlines a progressive economic, environmental, racial, and social justice agenda that will create jobs, raise wages, protect the environment, and provide health care for all - and ultimately transform our country and our world for the better. For him, the political revolution has just started. The campaign may be over, but the struggle goes on.

Bernie Sanders ran as a Democratic candidate for president of the United States in 2015 and 2016. He served as mayor of Burlington, Vermont's largest city, for eight years before becoming the sole congressperson for the state in 1990. He was elected to the Senate in 2006 and is now the longest-serving Independent in the history of the Congress. He lives in Burlington, Vermont, with his wife, Jane, and has four children and seven grandchildren.

Mark Ruffalo is an award-winning actor, director, producer, and social activist. Known for high-profile roles in movies such as The Kids Are All Right (2010), The Normal Heart (2014), Foxcatcher (2015), and Spotlight (2015) as well as blockbusters like The Avengers (2012) and The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), he made his directorial debut with Sympathy for Delicious at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. He was an ardent supporter of Senator Bernie Sanders' bid for the Democratic nomination for president.

Take the good with the bad

Bernie did good narrating, the other guy does a bit of a disservice to the movement with his failure to maintain control of his emotions. He speaks too much with disgust and condescension...and his laughs...his laughs are a mediocre attempt to manage his breath that are often timed inappropriately.

Eye-opening but depressing

Full of well researched and informative discussion of various issues this country suffers.

However, it is at the same time depressing to realize how big corporations are really the ones in control. And there only agenda is high profits; period!

Mike's added snickering in his narration was a bit off-putting.
