Incredible characters

Narrator is knowledgable and has great pacing. Excellent character development!!! Really helped familiarize me with the real story of Merlin, retold with expert skill.

GREAT STORY

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Its well written and highly enjoyable. Scott Telek does a great job in weaving the words of the story into life. However, I would suggest that Scott not narrate the next one. Over all I loved it, and want to listen to the next one.

the story is okay, known, however, an author has no business narrating his own work. he is TERRIBLE!!!

Accurate and compelling

I throughly enjoyed this fully fleshed out legend, bringing a depth to characters without altering the source. In most iterations, the story is altered in such a way to make the characters compelling to a modern audience but often they stray so far from the original legend that it becomes unrecognizable. However, in this telling, you hear from an expert in the field providing a more readable, unaltered version. It is compelling and the best telling of these stories that I've encountered in any medium. I also enjoyed the narrator, I think he has a very clear and enjoyable voice. And, though this doesn't have the lyrical quality that some fiction narrators tend to have, I enjoyed listening to this thoroughly and understand the obstacles of getting a different person to narrate a book with the same tone in which you've written it. Additionally, it is very common for an author to narrate their book and the vast majority of books I've bought follow this trend. One thing I might enjoy seeing in future additions is an ending note or chapter highlighting or discussing some of the historical significance of the symbols or motifs to the people of that era which come up in the book.
