Beautiful story brought to life!

I had recently tried an audiobook for the first time and could not finish it. I just did not enjoy it even though i had read and loved the book. I was prepared to just throw in the towel and never attempt another one again. Well, Our Alternate Ending is one of my favorite books ever so when it came out on audio I decided to give audio another go. And let me tell you that was a really great decision!!! I LOVED this in audio form! Romy and Troy did an exceptional job bringing Elle and Owen to life! I was enraptured! I listened to it in the car while I was driving for work and I hated having to pause it to work! So even if audio isn’t your thing, I would give this one a try because it is so worth it! 💜

Enjoyed performance more than the story

I enjoyed the performance more than the story. The writing was good but didn’t care much for the characters. That’s the reason I gave high rating. All in all, I recommend it.

Intense!

This story will slowly break your heart, but then piece it back together. I found this book looking for more narration by Troy Duran and he did not disappoint.

Tear jerker

Great story! Narrators did not sounded more mature than the age of the characters in the book which was a little weird but not a deal breaker for me. Troy Duran’s deep voice is a joy to listen to.

Pick up this book and live it!!!

Have you ever read a book that's left you completely and utterly speechless. I mean a mind blowing, heart pounding, tear jerking, emotion producing on all ends of the spectrum, book that has you reevaluating and being so much more grateful for everything you have in your life. A book so incredible that I can't even bring myself to message the author before writing this out loud for everyone to see.
You see, Katie Fox, you've truly put me through the ringer and guess what?

“At the very least, there are about a quarter million words in the English language. I want one of them from you. I don’t want you to think about your answer. I just want the first word that enters your mind. Okay?”

Stunning.

I give it my highest recommendation for you all to pick up this damn beautiful book and live it (yes, I meant live not love but you can also do that too.) I can’t give it enough praise, and although, as Owen says, at the very least there are about a quarter million words in the English language, I can’t come up with enough for how utterly fantastic this story is.

Katie has become a unicorn author for me, one I want to read everything she ever writes without an inch of coercion. She breathes life into words that brand themselves onto your soul.

Seriously, read/listen to this book! The narrators are fantastic throughout!
