"I know You're able and I know You can save through the fire with Your mighty hand." "But even if You don't". Many times in our lives we have been in the fire. It's been not easy, it's been really hard. Where do you turn? Sometimes, I need to remind myself "Today is Going to be a Good Day". Today's guest is Doctor Michelle Bengtson. How much joy and encouragement would you have to give if you knew your time was short? My guest today is Tina. She is a long-time friend and was recently diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive neuromuscular disease. ALS is characterized by progressive degeneration of motor nerve cells in the brain (upper motor neurons) and spinal cord (lower motor neurons). After going through an 18-month process Tina was given the news she has ALS and that it would one day take her life. Tina has made it her mission with the time, she has left to be a source of joy and encouragement. Join me as I try on Tina's very comfy slippers.

Welcome to the new season called "Aglet" You know an "Aglet" that plastic or metal piece at the end of your shoelace that keeps it from unraveling or fraying. This season I will be walking alongside some amazing new friends to hear about their "Aglet". Maybe along the way, you could be thinking about that one thing that keeps your life from unraveling and fraying?

My first guest is Keith Ferrin an author, speaker, and storyteller. Keith founded his ministry in 1996 and now travels around the U.S. and internationally, speaking at conferences, churches, retreats, and universities. Keith utilizes humor, practical workshops, and word-for-word presentations of whole books of the Bible (we’re not kidding!) to help people fall in love with God’s Word and its Author. Keith also founded "Simply Communicate" and coaches individuals and teams in the area of improving team communication and individual public speaking. Join me as we try on Keith's size 11 Hoka shoes
