Publisher's Summary

This is not your typical options trading book, plagued with jargon and written by Wall Street academics who are more concerned with showing off than with actually teaching you how to trade. In Options Trading: QuickStart Guide, ClydeBank Finance packages the wisdom of the Wall Street elite into a straight-forward and easy-to-listen-to teaching tool. Options Trading: QuickStart Guide is ClydeBank Finance at its best, making complex ideas clear while endowing listeners with a wealth of powerful new knowledge.

Whether you're a newcomer to options trading or a grizzled veteran looking for a fresh take on basic strategy, you'll enjoy the plain-spoken style and colorful scenarios illustrated in Options Trading: QuickStart Guide.

In addition to providing a solid beginner's course in options trading, Options Trading: QuickStart Guide walks you through a multitude of strategic trading decisions, showing you how a trader thinks and how he arrives at critical decisions. This book wasn't written for someone who wants to stay on the sidelines, but for the ambitious trader looking to become a formidable, sharp, and cunning options trader.

You'll learn:

  • The fundamentals of put and call options
  • How to understand and leverage intrinsic value
  • How to use a stock's implied volatility to inform smart trades
  • What you need to know about "The Greeks"

a lot more comfortable now. And intend to learn an use the resources in this book. Thank you.

Great addition to the World of Stocks and Trading

Would you listen to Options Trading: QuickStart Guide again? Why?

Yes, I will and I have repeated listening to the book by itself and in conjunction with other information from Clyde Bank. The information is broken down for the novice and the non traditional student, those that have ventured into this interest at a later time in life and may not have the skill level for the Jargon used by advanced brokers, traders and such.

Who was your favorite character and why?

N/A

Have you listened to any of Peter Bierma’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, as previously stated Peter brings a non monotone characteristic to this audible book. It is as though you are listening to your educated friend and not a monotone professor. which is important in keeping the interest of the listener.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Leaning about the 6 Option Trading Websites – Amex.com, Boston Option Exchange, d Chicago board Exchange, International securities Exchange, New York stock Exchange, Philadelphia stock exchange, European Style option and American Style Options; however this book focuses on American. There is so much information in this audible, but it is laid out in an interesting format and explicit detail is given where all can understand.

Any additional comments?

First and foremost this book was purchased by me at a heavily discounted price for a honest review of its content. I choose to receive this book as I have always had interest in Trading and Options Trading by Clyde Bank was my first choice as I have purchased books from this business and they have all been extremely educational and the books that have will remain in my repertoire of income options.

Very basic

No significant content on trading options. Makes me think I should write a book myself to help others learn useful information about options.

The book constantly refers to a pdf file NOT included in the audible version That significantly reduced the value of the book. The reader has to email the author for the file.

awesome

I struggle to understand the concept at 1st but with repeated listen and taking notes you'll have at least the basics. Only, downfall. Is you have to remember to email the company for the PDF accompaniment. Should have a direct link for paying customer. But the audible book is on point!
