A good detailed overview

The first few books started off slow and covered the basics, but the books really started to pick up some steam from there.

Delivers on its promise

I found the author of this book very relatable. He avoids unnecessary jargon and complex technical language, making the content approachable for beginners like me. You'll find the concepts illustrated with clear examples and practical scenarios which I really enjoyed. This book is a must-read for aspiring traders seeking to unlock the potential of the financial markets.

Comprehensive!

This is a very good start, I believe, and I'm glad I found this comprehensive audio book before beginning my trading journey. I do now feel I have some grounding to start from. I was slightly overloaded at times as there's a lot to consider, but that's not taking anything from this book. It's well narrated, smooth and easy to listen to. It covers the basic understandings and options (or options!) and how things work and the basis for your investing decisions. Researching and keep up with market shifts and flows and finally more about the psychology behind it all that you're going to need to succeed.

I really like this book because it helped me understand options trading in a simple way. I always found it difficult to understand how option works or what it even means. But this book explains everything clearly. It's like having an options coach right beside you. And it even defines jargon and terms in a simple way.

More stories and examples would be helpful because the info is technical and dry.

Finally...Options Trading Explained!

My husband loves options trading, but when he tries to tell me about his plays it sometimes feels like he's speaking another language. This audiobook was helpful in explaining options in varying levels of intricacy. I liked that it explained the basics of call options and put options, future and even the difference between normal stock trading and options trading. By leveraging your money you can control a larger position with a smaller investment, and options can even act as a kind of insurance by hedging other positions that might be a bit riskier. The narrator also explained looking at the options chain, which can be confusing to a beginner and the vocabulary of strike price, long call options, making out of the money plays, etc. Overall would recommend this to all options trading beginners, with a dash of diligence and discipline!
