This book was snippets of wisdom gathered from Oprah. Good advice in short digestible portions. However it was not delivered in the low voice of Oprah with her gravitas. Instead it was performed by a person with a tiny light voice. NOT THE SAME. The speaker's voice was a distraction and quite annoying.

Quick bites of encouragement

This book was pretty good. A very quick listen with bits of wisdom from Oprah. It wasn't a waste of time, but was not incredibly inspirational either. Overall, not a bad way to spend an hour.

motivation at it's finest

Listening to this has truly helped me to understand the importance in life and the people you involve in it, knowing that life happens and you just keep going is truly the key to LIVING

Good book. Narrator is very good. Easy to understand. Nice overview on some topics about Oprah. Generally good.

The wrong narrator!

The info in this book was ok for some mild inspiration for those who could use a pick-me-up. I was expecting something More since it has Oprah's name and face on it. Hmmm. Setting that aside, the narrator was a big distraction. She sounds like a young white 20-something reading an essay at the front of her creative writing class. It's a very jarring distraction when I'm supposed to be learning about a much more mature black woman. Think .... Kevin Hart narrating a Sylvester Stallone book. Just wrong. A more appropriate narrator would have bumped this up to 4 stars.

dissapointment

I love Oprah but this book was bad. hastily put together little snippets of what Oprah says. not even worth the 5 dollar price tag

I loved this audio version of the book; it was easy to use & functional. The work was inspiring & insightful. The narrator was pleasant.

Disappointing

I guess I didn't notice that Oprha wasn't actually reading the audio book. It was very uninspiring listing to what sounded like a very young girl speak about what Oprah thoughts and feelings are.
