Really a fun book

I listened to this book "byvaccident. ". I had purchased it on a whim, I'd never heard of it, but I sure am glad. I had alot of fun listeningcto it. Its full of excitement I will absolutely readore from this author!

For the animals

I started this story and at first I dic are for Ms. Roberts but as the story evolved, I realized she perfect for the heroine Poppy.
A little romance, a little action and for once, a special agent who is funny, smart and a badass!

Interesting different twist.

Really enjoyed the storyline. Kimberli brought the story, even though a work of fiction, to life with the development of her characters and story of animal capture, cruelty, and sale.

What did you like best about this story?

The author's love for animals comes through in every chapter. Being a wildlife advocate myself, I appreciated Bindschatel's outlook on the world and the obvious research she did to write this entertaining novel.

What about Rebecca Roberts’s performance did you like?

Rebecca's delivery was more entertaining than any other audio book I have every listened to. I enjoyed how she brought to life the different characters through her portrayal.

Very good story featuring an independent herioine

I liked the story. the narrator was very good. The action scenes were well done. I felt Poppy was a bit reckless. I was surprised there was not more surveillance. Also some of the descriptions of the animals were disturbing. I don't like to even think about how some animals are treated, and reading graphic descriptions of cruelty was hard.

A good book covering the plight of wild animals & those who try to save them.
It shows the mind set of the buyer, seller, & rescuer.
The author took a dark, frustrating, depressing subject, & brightened it with love & determination. Good job!

Pint sized Barbie and big Ken?

I had higher hopes for this series. The main character is continually drooling over guys and occasionally beating up bad guys and gals. But what was the point in terms of helping the animals? The ending was very disappointing. And how does supporting this author help stop the trafficking of wildlife? I'm not convinced to become a new fan. I might try one in this series.

Surprising twists along the way of the adventure

To be honest, I hadn’t yet heard of Kimberli A. Bindschatel until I came across this book. I had no idea what to expect! It was a whirlwind of an adventure! I liked the unexpected surprises and the ending was perfect!

struggling to finish

Poppy is unprofessional and annoying. She does whatever she wants and is angry when make characters expect her to do her job, because they are men and she doesn't want to be told what to do. Even if they are more experienced and her bosses.
