Publisher's Summary

“As if sleeping with the enemy wasn’t disastrous enough....”

For Camryn Cox, living a private, purpose-driven, drama-free life is a top priority. And in her opinion, Maverick Woods represents everything opposite of that.

He’s social media-famous, ultra fine, and completely irresponsible, making him something like the enemy as far as Camryn is concerned. But everything changes when a surprise moment of passion between the two of them results in a positive pregnancy test. Oops!

Includes bonus novella Whoa.

No Spoiler Alerts-I hate when tell the WHOLE book!

Ok. This is my first book from this author so I am not use to the writing style which is extremely wordy. I found myself pressing the 30 sec advance ALOT! For example, her first trip to the doctors office, between the before getting there, leading up, during the appt and after had to be about 20 pages of words. I was annoyed at the overthinking. Which was pretty much throughout the whole book.

Some may love this style, but truly being a northerner, I found myself screaming, GET TO THE POINT!!!! Lol. Again, no disrespect to the author. The writing style is just not for me.

What A Cute Story

Oops!
This was such a good book...I love the banter and back and forth between Camryn and Maverick...Camryn worked for Maverick's Actress Mothers' Charity. Maverick was a spoiled self-absorb social media influencer. The two (2) of them are definitely attracted to each other, but Camryn is set on down playing her feelings. One night the two of them finally got together for some unplanned unprotected sex...which, eventually resulted in a positive pregnancy test. After finding out he's going to be a father, Maverick is set on proving to Camryn that he's ready to be a father and even ready to be the man that she wants and needs. I love how the relationship between Camryn and Maverick eventually developed and the couple finally fell for each other, A really cute romance!

Whoa
Another Cute Story....Malinda and Walter (DJ Whoa) was introduced on a blind date and they connected quickly, which led to their first night of passion. After their first night, Walter was hooked. But, let's be clear...so was Malinda; but she was hesitant because she felt the relationship would interfere with the continued growth of her business. In this short, Malinda eventually realized she could have them both. Malinda & Walter finally got their HEA.....I loved how Oops & Whoa worked simultaneously to give us two (2) warm loving stories from the Woods Twins.

The narration for book was decent....

I Don’t Know

The story was okay. It wasn’t horrible, but I could have passed. I don’t know what it is, but the writing was just blah to me. This was my first A. Warren book, I’ll try another before I write her off. But I wasn’t feeling it, kind of boring. I’m looking for someone I like as much as Alex House and DL White, so far my search continues.

So ROMANTIC! Not a hopeless romantic.

Fantastic storyline for all of the characters! It kept me engaged and wanting more. The characters were realistic.

Not worth the listen

I downloaded this book because it was "recommended" for me, 4.9 on ratings, and I thought, easy listen romcom.
It's terrible. I can't finish it. The storyline is every romcom genre (which is usually fine), but it moves soooo slowly, and there are zero surprises on the horizon that I couldn't figure out at the beginning of the book. Hardly no character development. And I have to say the nail in the coffin were the sex scenes, which felt like a gross guy at a strip club describing a sex scene. I wish I could get my credit back.
The narrators were solid though. I wouldn't mind hearing them on another audible book.

Didn’t think I could love it more!

I read both novellas this past summer and LOVED them - Alexandra Warren has a real gift for storytelling in the millennial lane. While the characters themselves reflect youth, the conversations they are having and the situations they are dealing with are adult in every sense, and Warren does a great job fusing those narratives together here, while making them hilarious at the same time.

Morae Brehon and newcomer Chance Smolders do a solid job with the narration, creating a new layer of enjoyment with these stories. Definitely recommend!
