Publisher's Summary

The Death Gate is down and Izzy Sage is at a crossroads. What will happen when they throw the switch and bring it back? She’s all atwitter on the big day...and then things only get more twisted when Zoe Lake-Winters, a powerful mage, walks through the door with her husband and daughter in tow.

Zoe is an enigma, one Izzy is drawn to, but before they can get to know one another a revenant crosses the newly-opened gate and a magical explosion from Zoe’s daughter Sami causes more mayhem...and an additional coverup.

Two very different worlds are colliding, and Izzy and Zoe are at the center of it. The mystery of the other side is dark and deep and Zoe finds she’s intrigued...even if her methods are a bit extreme for the Grimlocks.

There’s a conspiracy afoot, and it’s anybody’s guess who at the reaper council has been compromised. Sheer grit and determination will bring a mage and a bruja together, but it’s loyalty that will ultimately guide them.

It seems someone is erecting gates in various locations around the city, but why? What do they hope to accomplish? Is a full-scale revenant attack imminent? Only time will tell, and when the battle comes, two powerful beings will have to come together to protect what they love most.

Hold on to your hexes, because the magical union you’ve been waiting for is finally here...and it’s going to be a very snarky affair.

Zoe and crew get introduced to Izzy and the Grimlocks. Baddies show up, mysteries are solved, and surprise information is revealed. Now I'm ready to find out what is true and what isn't in the next one!

Great book hard to put down

Amanda M Lee is a new all time favorite author. She has a way of drawing you into a book and getting your feeling involved. I can't wait to read the next one in this series. I love the Grimlock's and all of the other characters. I love how she gets other characters from other series into the mix. I have never laughed and cried reading a book as I have reading hers books. The only other Authors that have manged to do that are Nora Roberts, JD Robb, Catherine Coulter, and Richard H. Stephens. Would love to find more that can do that.

Amanda M. Lee is fantastic

I am a huge fan of this author. Unfortunately, the narration made it almost impossible to listen; aside from a couple of really questionable choices for some of the characters' voices, the constant mispronunciation of Aisling's name and the word "queried" was grating.

ive Loved this series~ everything about it! not only do we have interesting new characters (who are all so easy to fall in love with), but umm, More Grimlock action!!! who's gonna say no to That?!
i was so disappointed when i finished their series~ cause i wanted moremoreMore! but these books bring the Grimlock's back, in all their mouthy, loving, snarky, reaperly goodness=)))
it all makes me soo happy! with everything happening in the Izzy/Grimlock world, you won't be able to get enough. there are some fun and interesting crossovers that reintroduce old favourites, too=) some of whom become integral in Izzy's story, letting us know that there is so much more ahead. yay!!💞💙💞

Everything You Know Is Wrong

Down is up and up is down in Lee’s latest Death Gate Thriller. Izzy thought that her parents were killed years ago, during a gate accident, but were they? Or did something more terrible happen to them? Like the Go Go’s: my lips are sealed. Zoe Lake Winters, and family, make a guest appearance in what has to be the best book in the series so far! 10 jars of pickled beets, and I normally only go five! 👏👏👏👏👏

Reapers meet Mage

By far the greatest combination of stories. Izzy and Zoe are powerhouses together. Toss in husbands, boyfriends, a sassy teenager and you have a combination that would make a chocolate fountain bar look boring. Well done!

Loving this series.

I think this is my favourite book of the series so far. I love the Covenant crossover although I’ve not listened to any of that series yet. I love how the characters are maturing as the series progresses and I’m looking forward to the next book.

So enjoyable

A darker story line but still full of snarky humour and family shenanigans. A great crossover, I’m enjoying seeing Zoe, Aric and Sami appearing in so many books.

Gotta love cross overs

It's that time!!! The Winters family meets the Grimlocks yay!!!
I really love cross-over stories and ones with Zoe, Aric and Sammy are always extra entertaining.
I love the death gate series a lot Izzy is amazing add her with the Grimlock clan and wow we get entertaining on a whole new level.
In only the strong we have so many big personalities you wouldn't think it could work but it really does.
While Lily normally steals the spotlight this time Sammi outshone her just a bit lol.
