Fun and intriguing
I think the author really had a good command of the characters and made the story so interesting by placing the action in the quirky and unique locale of Key West. The story, a mystery, has a cast of characters that are very fun to get to know, The Duvall St drag queens with so much heart, the Russian mafia which are a surprise and the return of the odd couple cop team Nick and and Norm from Michaels first book: The Gay Detective Everyone is romping around! Fun book with some edge.

Great entertainment!
I was giving up on the LGBTQ mysteries that were filled with trite, monotonous, boilerplate romance/porn. It seems lately with Audible I had kissed a lot of frogs to get to this.
This was a real mystery that captured and held my interest. It even reminded me of how much I enjoyed the first Nick and Norm mystery I read way back.
Read this. Give me more in this series, please.
