Grayson and Emma!

Grayson has a lot of regrets in his life but leaving Emma is the one that haunts him. He had planned to finished out his term with the military but one mission changed everything and it has shown him that life can be taken in the blink of an eye and he is determined to win back the heart of the only woman he has ever loved.

With the help of her family Emma is balancing school, working and being a single mother. Her heart broke for the second time when she found out that Grayson had passed away so when he calls she is shaken to the core.

When they reunite the chemistry and connection between them is stronger than ever but he is still dealing with the aftereffects of his service and she has a secret that will change everything. The narrators do a great job of bringing out all the emotion and angst of this story.

Perfect besides for one thing

You have to read the first book to understand the second and the second answers questions of the first. Basically the first book ended on a cliff hanger. After all the building up they were doing for a relationship, why all of a sudden at the end, they were separated and living singular lives ?

Only for her answers that but to me it’s a poor excuse because he was so in love with her but he decided to just up and leave? If you love her so much why leave in the first place ? He was letting the situation with his dad and her dictate his love life.

The story line is intriguing and creativity and put together well, but the saturation of sex scenes and detail is just cringe.

Great story

Excellent female narrator!!! She could have done it alone. Didn’t care for make narrator, too stiff/regimented.

I do not like stories that do not end!

I do not like stories that do not end! But this is an awesome story....that did and didn't end on a cliffhanger.

Unforgettable Characters

Cristen Harber won me over right away with this riveting story about two kids from opposite sides of the tracks falling in love. It began with book one and continues here. Well narrated, it was a treat to listen as well-developed, unforgettable characters were meant to share thier future. The angst level is high because the path to their HEA is not easy. Now I'm moving on to book three... I'mean off to one-click!
