Publisher's Summary

From New York Times bestselling author J.S. Scott comes the final book in her captivating Wall Street Journal bestselling series...

It has been a year since Brooke escaped to the lovely coastal community of Amesport, Maine, where no one knows her real name or what she’s been through. Now she’s finally heading back home to California. That means saying goodbye to Liam Sullivan, her millionaire blond god of a boss who’s fulfilled every one of Brooke’s fantasies. If only in her dreams...

Liam has his fantasies, too - and he’s not letting Brooke go. When he confesses his feelings, it opens the door to an incendiary romance that’s been a long time coming. So has Brooke’s own confession: that the woman Liam is falling for has been living a lie.

But there’s a secret about Brooke that even she doesn’t know. When it’s revealed, it’ll put a whole new spin on her past, her future with Liam, the true meaning of family, and the rewards of following her heart.

IT’S SHORT.. BUT IT’S OH SO SWEET ‘N SEXY TOO

I usually hate short stories and steer way clear of them.. but, when a trusted author includes one into a favorite series of yours, what else can you do but buy it. And I’m glad I did because not only does this tell the tale of a couple who have worked and yearned in silence for each other for a year, but it also introduces you to even more Sinclairs.

Do I wish it’d been longer? hell yes, but JSS packed a lot into this sweet low angst drama-lite Novella about Restaurant Owner Liam and his employee Brooke who had secrets.. as well as an end date when she’d be returning home. And, when that date became a reality, it forced the couple to see what had been in front of them, and in their hearts, for a whole year. But could, would and should they take their relationship to the next level.

Worth a credit? Luckily it was a sale time purchase and, at under $10, I didn’t need to weigh up ‘reward vs expenditure’ I just bought it for cash and sat back to enjoy a short ‘n sweet (and sometimes sexy too) dual POV love story. Elizabeth Powers did a great job with the dual narration chapters and her hero’s voice was very believable.

Liam's Story

I was thrilled to see Liam get his perfect ending and excited by the new discovery in the Sinclair family. No spoilers here; you will have to read or listen for yourself!

I can't say enough good things about Elizabeth Powers' style in narrating this series. It has been a very enjoyable experience listening to her bring life into these stories and characters.

Kathy

J S Scott is brilliant. Her books are hot hot hot. You don’t have to read in order but better if you do.

Don’t bother!

This is a novella. Very repetitive with a terrible plot. I’ve read most of J.S Scott’s books so I bought this without reading the description. Big mistake on my part. I couldn’t even finish it.
This book feels like it was just written to make the publishers happy not the fans.

For repeated loners out there

Gay and basic. Not realistic. I cringed my way to the end. I am deaf now. Thank you.

Will She adjust to the changes or run again?

Brooke came to the East Coast to escape the memories from the other side of the country. She left her family to have some time to recover. She didn't intend to meet a man who would make her tremble in a good way every time she saw him.

Liam tried to resist Brooke. She had a boyfriend. Not good enough for her. Who would let a woman like that be so far away and visit only once in so many months? Still, he didn't poach. When he finds out he's made a mistake, will he give in to what they both want?

There are so many life changes for Brooke to adjust to and people to meet. Will the changes be good ones including Liam, or will she be unable to cope and run again?

A novella of love and family.

Kind of boring compared to the other books, it was just okay. I hope the next one is better.

Great addition to the series

J.S. Scott---I normally so not waist my time with novellas--because most have little to say. I was impressed with "Only A Millionaire". Complete story--Well written--And a needed portion to this series. It has added important new information to this series and to understand future books. Well Done!

Elizabeth Powers has done a excellent job in the narration, as always.
