Publisher's summary

College professor Johanna Marshall swore she would never fall in love again. She especially did not want to become involved with someone who has a reputation as an extreme womanizer...someone like Kelly Sambino.

But on a hot summer night, Jo finds herself unable to resist Kelly. What follows is something Jo would like very much to quickly forget. Embarrassed after their night of passion, Jo hopes she will never have to see Kelly again. Then, when Fall classes begin, Jo finds herself face to face with the college's new Literature Professor - Kelly Sambino.

Will Kelly's charms win Jo over? Will Jo listen to her friends or will she, in a moment of need, follow the stirrings in her heart?

Beyond!!!

This was a wonderful story. I did make me angry to the point of me yelling at the main character. She was soooo frustrating. The love scenes were great. They weren't raunchy, just put all the feelings into words. Gerri and Abby are an awesome duo.

Two and a half stars

The last Gerri Hill title was great, but this flimsy story features a seriously neurotic main character. The roller coaster emotional ride gets tiresome by the third go around of 'gee, I can't love you cuz ...but I can't let you go'. There's so little meaningful story here and just an endless series of grope and soft porn vicarious sex scenes that it gets weird to be the bystander. Pls raise the standard back to an actual story.

The main character irritated me

She was so incredibly irritating. Her I want you but then I don't but I don't want anyone else to have you either during the almost entire book was just so frustrating to me. I usually enjoy Gerri Hill books, but this one I got through only because I paid for it.

Meh

Just ok.
It’s short. Not a lot happens.
Gerri Hill has many better titles available.
This one is completely forgettable.

Abby Craden does fine. There just isn’t much for her to work with here.

jealous, juvenile, stupid main character

The narrator does an excellent job but the story isn't do good. Jo, one of the characters is very unlikable. honestly, I can't see why the other Kelly (the other main character/ heroine) is interested at all. At times it feels like they're in highschool. Jo'd behavior is off-putting and grating. I can't continue listening. It is so ridiculous.

Struggled to finish

Normally, I love Gerri Hill books, but this book was hard to finish. Jo was not a likeable character. She came off as whiny and selfish. Characters were one dimensional. This book was one of Gerri Hill's earlier works and it showed.

Absolutely amazing!!!😍

I rarely take the time to do a full review.

Usually I just rate a book but I felt the need to fully or in part, voice what I felt after reading this book.

I loved everything about this one!!

I felt the writer brilliantly captured and told the story so effectively, paying so much attention to detail I found myself lost in every emotion the characters were feeling.

This book made me cry, laugh, rolled my eyes and expressed anger all as it unraveled. Wow! I specifically loved how the author highlighted the beauty and difficulties of Asperger Syndrome well done!!

My only critic was probably the pronunciation of the Syndrome itself by the main characters which in no way took away from the brilliance of this story line😘 it is also worth mentioning that the narrator’s voice was perfect and beautiful too it suited the characters and was so easy on my ears this is very important so thank u😘

I failed to put the book down from start to finish then I read it again and again!!

I would recommend this book to anyone and would give it 10 stars if that was at all possible 😘😘
