Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. Story
Refuge, New Hampshire, is a small town. The kind found on postcards. Their biggest concern is the rowdy summertime revelers making their way up from Massachusetts and New York. And with most of the town's residents in neighboring Ashland, for the Fourth of July fireworks show, Refuge is quieter than usual. That is, until the Baptist church's bell starts ringing - on its own. The bell chimes faster and faster, reaching a frenetic pace, as though rung by the Devil himself. But the bell is just the beginning.

Publisher's summary
What will a man do for the woman he truly loves? Kyle Fasano is about to prove that it's nothing short of 10 times more than everything he has left to give. Finally back from the depths of hell, he is stunned to find out that hell has followed him home - his wife, Tamara, has been abducted by a possessed serial killer, and his children are in protective custody.
Despite all odds, the Gray Man and Detective Napoleon Villa have made it back from hell as well. The Gray Man returns to Kyle's side as they begin a chase across two states, trying to rescue Tamara before it's too late. Villa races to help his partner, Detective Evan Parker, who has now experienced enough things beyond comprehension to convince him that protective custody won't be nearly enough to keep the Fasano children safe.
Meanwhile, death appears imminent for Tamara. Trapped, desperate, and terrified, she turns to a faith she allowed to fade long ago. Now, even though it looks like all hope is lost, Tamara Fasano is about to learn that heaven dwells in every prayer, and though love is all the strength you'll ever need, it's even something more.

Story
In the blink of an eye, everyone disappears. Gone. Except for the young. There are teens, but not one single adult. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no Internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened. Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents - unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers - that grow stronger by the day. It's a terrifying new world.

Better than the first book
I love the interaction between good and evil, Angels and demons and how God is involved in our lives. He portrayed hell as a much scarier place than in my imagination... did not want the story to end

Touched
If I could speak directly to Tony Faggioli I would say thank you. This story could not have been an easy undertaking. It makes me wonder what type of experiences or trials you must have faced to be able to write something so profound. Yes these books definitely took imagination, but also a first hand knowledge and maybe even an experience in seeing first hand the fight between good and evil. I imagine a story like this one would not be one evil would want shared. It would take a brave Christian to be willing to take on the obstacles you probably faced while writing this story. Then again, as Kyle says..”evil only has enough power that we give it”
I truly enjoyed your story Sir.
God Bless
