One Night Only is another sexy addition to the Lauren Blakely After Dark books. Lauren's books always bring the sexy and fun, and these book are no different. They just give us more of the sexy. Ivy is a CEO who's trying to revamp her hotel and make it the next big thing. Callum is her bodyguard. He's supposed to be off limits, but she can't help the way she's fallen for him in the last year. Callum's job is to protect Ivy. Watch over her and never let anything happen to her. He can't do that if he's physically involved with her, so he doesn't let her get that close. Until one night when he sees desire in her eyes. Desire for something he knows he can give her. But he has to touch her first. Experience just him and Ivy. Then he needs to walk away and do his job. Ivy can't stop thinking about the one night she shared with Callum. She wants more, but she knows it probably won't happen. Callum finally realizes he can't stay away from her and he wants to give her the fantasy she's dying for. Him, her and his best friend, Stone. He's a sexy rockstar who would love nothing more than to help out his best friend. Just one night. The three of them together to give Ivy what she craves. This story is so hot! But it's more than just steamy and sexy. Ivy's job is demanding and she has to learn that she can have both the high powered job and be submissive to her man. Callum has to realize her can still keep the woman he wants safe, while he gives in to his feelings. One night of forbidden passion just fuels the connection between Ivy and Callum. Overall I loved it! It's a short, fast read full of heat and heart. I can't wait for Stone's story!

Audio: I feel like I say this a lot, but Joe and Emma did some of the best narration they have ever done. And Jacob really brought his A game (I smiled through his entire chapters.). I couldn’t get enough of this story or this narration. Lauren and these three narrators are a match made in heaven!

Bodyguard and His Client

Another great book in the After Dark series. Callum is Ivy's bodyguard and feels like he can't act on his feelings for her. Ivy's attracted to Callum also but they haven't let each other know until his friend, Stone forces Callum to act. Callum knows what Ivy wants and wants to give it to her and does. Joe Arden, Emma Wilder, and Jacob Morgan are wonderful narrators.

Swoony, Passionate, HOT and Steamy Romance!

This is another delicious new After Dark novella featuring Ivy, a beautiful Hotel CEO and her strong, protective bodyguard, Callum. Ivy, along with her sister, is revamping their family hotel after the tragic loss of their parents. Ivy has needed protection after an incident with a stalker. Callum has watched over her for over a year. He knows all her secret desires and wants to give her all of them. But he can't afford the distraction and tries to keep it professional. Ivy wants Callum just as much as she wants to make her hotel the talk of the town. They agree on one night only to explore all the desires Ivy has been afraid to act on and Callums best friend and rock star, Stone is excited to help her with both the hotel, and her fantasies. But can one hot, explosive night be enough?
The narration by Joe Arden, Emma Wilder, and Jacob Morgan was so perfect. Their inflections were breathtaking, and their chemistry was palpable. I thought Wilder's portrayal and breathy voice for Ivy when she was turned on was exceptional.
I loved this swoony, passionate, HOT and steamy romance and can't wait for more of this After Dark series!
