Good

I love the books on the Shaughnessy brothers and the band mates of Riley Shaughnessy. With regard to the criticism of the narrator’s voice, it took me a book or two to get used to it but now I love it and I’m looking for more books narrated by him. I find him enjoyable to listen to.
I could do without the explicit sex talk as I’m more into storyline and romance, but if it gets too bothersome I just fast forward, haha. It’s probably mild compared to some other stuff. It’s just not something I need to hear in the audiobooks I listen to. But it won’t stop me from looking forward to all of the books in the series.

One More Promise

Aww I enjoyed this one much more than book one. The redemption storylines always get me. Quick and sweet, Dylan was wonderful. And I loved seeing Paige grow and finally find her way at the end. On to book 3 then I’m going to go back and find Riley’s book fro the other series

moving forward as a new man

Samantha Chase has written another amazing romance! This story line was fantastic! I love the way the author Showed how your past doesn't have to forecast your future. This story of Dylan and Paige is a perfect description of what can happen when people judge you based on mistakes you have made in the past. Also, how expectations of someone can take a toll. I loved everything about One More Promise and the Shaughnessy storyline. This could be read as a standalone, but is the second book in the series. 5 stars from me all around!

Incredible!

Having a male and female narrator makes the story so much more realistic! The story was incredible! I didn’t want to put the book down!!!

Starting over

Dylan Anders is starting his life over. He has gotten out of rehab in a better place. But he has to fulfill a community service. He chooses a literacy campaign since he had so many struggles with reading himself.
Paige Walters is the head of the campaign. She has a specific plan and that didn’t include any tattooed rock stars. Her sister, the angel of the family, took it upon herself to add to Paige’s vision, without telling Paige. But Paige is used to that. Ariel does it all the time.
They are thrown together after Dylan is accused of going back to his old ways. Paige is given the job of handling him and they pretend to be a couple. Which isn’t far from what they are doing anyway. Dylan is trying to be good but is so attracted to Paige and Paige is trying to come out of her shell. Together they find a new way to be.
I loved how the performance made this book come to life. It’s one thing to read the words. It’s another to hear how their personalities come through.

They learnt to respect each other.

She had problems, working for Father's PR firm, along with her sister.
He had problems of his past, which was never forgotten, regardless of the life he leads now.
These didn't click at first glance, but over time... You should really read the book or like I did, enjoy the audiobooks for this series.
