Narrated by Linda Jones, the multi-award-winning performer honored by the One Voice Awards, Independent Audiobook Awards, Voice Arts Awards, and more — bringing over 150 audiobooks to life with her acclaimed voice.

Thousands of readers have praised this heartfelt and uplifting novel, calling it powerful, moving, and unforgettable.

For a man who thought love was lost forever, an unfathomable miracle is still to come.

Edward Stubbins is an orphan in post-war England. Shipped to Australia at ten, he’s offered hope—then abandoned—again and again. A kind nun, a wealthy patron, a girl who promises forever—each walks away when he needs them the most. By the time he’s grown, his heart is sealed shut. When the end finally comes, it is quiet and bitter.

But grace keeps its own strange clock. The emptiness Edward expected in death never comes. Instead, a luminous stranger offers him the chance to live again—in a new body, in a new life, with a chance to rewrite his story.

One More Life to Live is a historical romance with a spiritual twist, a deeply emotional journey through loss, longing, and the quiet power of grace. Because there is always hope, if you only know where to look.

I really enjoyed this book. It gave a different viewpoint on eternity and life’s experiences, how these experiences, change what a person is like and decisions that they make in the future. If we could all only do it over again, watching through someone else’s eyes and their experiences, I’m sure we would all have a better idea of how we should have run our lives the first time through. The narrator did a marvelous job, even though almost all of the main actors in the story were male The narrator, being female. It still came out very well, and the accents were wonderful and genuine the way she uses her voice. It makes it very easy to listen.

Great narrator and story line

I read One More Life to Live when it came out and really loved it. It's about a boy who lives a very rough life, and dies a bitter man. But that's only the beginning. There is a spiritual element to the book, but it is by no means a religious novel. The publisher got it right when they described it as a "historical romance with a spiritual twist."

The narrator, Linda Jones, is fabulous. She makes a very good book into a great one in her performance. Her voice is so soothing, yet she can do men, women, southern accents, British accents and Australian accents with ease.

Overall, I don't think I've listened to a better novel overall.

WAS GREAT WHEN I READ IT. EVEN BETTER IN AUDIO!
