"Lives are remade in McQuiston's LGBTQ, paranormal rom-com. Memorable characters (including N.Y.C. itself) and a sultry-comic seduction on public transit (rivaling the iconic Risky Business scene) will have listeners hooked." (BookPage, starred review)

"Narrator Natalie Naudus brings a quiet intensity to this genre-crossing audiobook...the perfect fit for a tale of queer joy, first love, and self-discovery." (AudioFile Magazine, Earphones Award winner)

From the New York Times best-selling author of Red, White & Royal Blue comes a new romantic comedy that will stop listeners in their tracks...

For cynical 23-year-old August, moving to New York City is supposed to prove her right: that things like magic and cinematic love stories don’t exist, and the only smart way to go through life is alone. She can’t imagine how waiting tables at a 24-hour pancake diner and moving in with too many weird roommates could possibly change that. And there’s certainly no chance of her subway commute being anything more than a daily trudge through boredom and electrical failures.

But then, there’s this gorgeous girl on the train.

Jane. Dazzling, charming, mysterious, impossible Jane. Jane with her rough edges and swoopy hair and soft smile, showing up in a leather jacket to save August’s day when she needed it most. August’s subway crush becomes the best part of her day, but pretty soon, she discovers there’s one big problem: Jane doesn’t just look like an old school punk rocker. She’s literally displaced in time from the 1970s, and August is going to have to use everything she tried to leave in her own past to help her. Maybe it’s time to start believing in some things, after all.

Casey McQuiston’s One Last Stop is a magical, sexy, big-hearted romance where the impossible becomes possible as August does everything in her power to save the girl lost in time.

Great read but a hurried ending

I enjoyed the character development. The author took their time building a good story. However, the ending was hurried and seemed more about tying up loose ends.

Amazing story, even better representation

This book is amazing and has it all - a great story that is unpredictable and emotionally moving, characters who are fully developed and relatable, and representation of almost every sexual and gender identity. The best part is that this isn’t a book ABOUT those identities - it’s just a love story with a fantasy twist. It’s a book about becoming and opening up to love. It was EXACTLY what I needed and wanted. Thank you Casey McQuiston for both your books - they are gifts of love and belonging!

Yes representation

I loved the representation in queer individuals in this book. It was nice to have it throughout the characters instead of just two main characters

This was crazy good. If I had the physical book in my hand I know I wouldn't have been able to put it down.

One of the best books I’ve read

It had great plot twist and great plot in general. The author kept you engaged and entertain. I loved everything about it from characters to just plane simple settings. I w would say this is one of my top 5 books. I loved it so much you definitely need to read

Best Narration

The book itself was beautiful and amazing but the voice actor who read it truly put depth in the characters. She did amazing

No notes, it’s perfect

Finally, a sapphic story with conflict that isn’t “somebody died, the end.” The storyline is masterful and the characters are weird and loveable without being *quirky* for the sake of quirk. The voice actor’s performance of Myla drove me crazy but was otherwise very well performed.
