Publisher's Summary

Fresh starts, hope, and happily ever afters....

Nurse Sage Nichols life changed when she lost her favorite patient and inherited a bed-and-breakfast in a town she didn’t know existed. She traveled to Aspen Cove intent to sell so she could hurry back to her life in Denver. Little did she know, she was about to find everything she ever needed in the tiny mountain town with a big heart. Sage found herself in a place where caring for your neighbor was a way of life. In her case, that happened to be surly Cannon Bishop, the man of her dreams.

Cannon Bishop was a man who learned long ago that hope was a dangerous thing. Closed off from the world after a family tragedy, Cannon lived a lonely life as the owner of Aspen Cove’s only bar and son to the town drunk. When Sage Nichols breezed into town, she offered the possibility of more if he’d only open his heart.

Cannon's protective walls tumble, and suddenly, a brighter future of healing, hope, and peace was possible...if only Sage would stay.

One Hundred Books Please

I was originally drawn to this book/series because it is narrated by one of my favorite romance narrators, Logan McAllister. He has an amazing voice and would likely make the phone book sound sexy. Upon listening I was quickly drawn into Ms. Collins amazing writing, quick wit and intriguing story. There is great character development for both the primary and secondary characters which sets up nicely for the series. I also enjoyed the way Ms. Collins took her time to introduce the characters so that they are not easily mixed up and their history and personalities are easy to remember. Ms. Collins has penned an amazing story and created a wonderful locale for what I can only hope are many stories to come. I am hoping that the series will slowly reveal the contents of each pink envelope and I can’t wait to read more. I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

I listened straight through to the end, couldn't stop. I could tell from the beginning it was going to be a great book and it was, all the characters were just what they needed to be and Bee was my favorite because she impacted everyone's lives. the narration was good and gave just what it needed. this is my honest review in exchange for the book as per audiobookboom.

I want every book in this series

I like these sweet romance stories set in a cute little town, where everybody knows your name. An easy listening story line where you get involved in the character's life. I liked the narrator's voice as well. I'm looking forward to the other audio books in this series, so I can get to know everyone in town. I received this audio book free for an honest review.

I loved it!💜

A heartfelt storyline that made me swoon!! A little predictable at times but also some unexpected moments too. I loved the characters and I am excited to read/listen to more of the Aspen Cove Series. The narration by Logan McAllister was absolutely perfect!! This is book 1 but can be read as a standalone and has an HEA! I highly recommend this book! Sisters Spotlight 💜

Fun and Entertaining

Good story - good characters! Predictable - but that's ok - it was fun and enjoyable. I do not, however, agree with other reviews that the narrator is "great." He's "ok" - but this is chick-lit and not many men can read this genre without sounding really cheesy. I thought he made the characters sound a little simple and I just couldn't relate to them the way I would have liked. Still, the first book was enough to hook me on the series - but I will probably read the rest of them.

Good & Narration

Sage faced life changes when she inherited a B & B in Aspen Cove, always tending to those that need her nursing and caring, She meets Canon, who had lost hope and never thought he find love. Enjoyable and the audio by Leslie McAllister was good, given ARC audio my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Very entertaining!

This was such a great book.   The characters have little details that help shape their personalities.  Although the story is shaped by a loss, that loss changed many people's lives for the good.   I love the little town that at first glance seems more like a deserted town.   The town's people all come together to help whenever needed.  I really enjoyed the dynamic the two people who are part of the romance portion of the story.   They argue with themselves about what they want and jump to conclusions before thinking of talking it through.    This story made me feel many emotions.  There were some sad parts,  but I would say there were more funny parts to enjoy!  There is appreciation to the gifts that were given,  love at the way the people respond to help and surprise when there was a punch in the nose!

Enjoyable listen

This is book 1 in the Aspen Cove series. Without giving too much of the story away Sage gets the opportunity to move to a new town and meets grumpy Cannon and this is their story. I always enjoy reading books by Kelly Collins and I have to say listening is also superb. Selecting a male narrator for a predominantly girly story was a good choice. A must listen for Kelly fans.

Mostly enjoyable.

The story was a little bit mushy for my tastes, particularly the hero. I cannot imagine some of the dialogue attributed to him, coming out of any man's mouth. I did like the narrator though, he did really well with some cringeworthy ( for me) dialogue. A nice story, well read... so, on the whole I liked it.
