Publisher's summary

Join best-selling author Kelly Collins on another trip to Aspen Cove where anything is possible when it comes to love….

Aspen Cove, Colorado, wasn’t on Lydia Nichols’ wishlist when she finished her residency at Denver General Hospital, but life delivered several surprising blows. Her long-time boyfriend, who was also her boss, moved on with a nurse and took Lydia’s job with him. No boyfriend. No job. No options. As a favor to her sister, she arrived in the small mountain town for a temporary job as the clinic doctor. Her first question when she got there was"how fast can I leave?" That was until sinfully sexy Wes Covington came into the clinic seeking care. With him around, Lydia might have found a reason to stay, for now.

Wes Covington left his demons in Denver. Working for his family’s architectural firm, he was tired of being almost: almost good enough, almost rich enough, almost loveable enough. He abandoned his penthouse, his high-paying position, and his Porsche for simple, small-town life. All he wanted was to restore his ancestral home and find a good woman who would love him for who he was and not what he was worth. When Wes meets Dr. Lydia Nichols, he likens her to a hellion with a halo. She’s the perfect mix of sassy and sweet, cunning and compassion, but she’ll never be his unless he can convince her to stay.

Love blooms quickly when the timing is right, but will Lydia surrender her chance at love, or can Wes convince her that everything she’ll ever want or need is right in Aspen Cove?

I ♡ Aspen Cove

This is one of my favorite small town series. The author does a great job of not only introducing new characters, but keeping up with ones we already know and love.

the more I listen to this narator, the more I love him!

Loved this story

This is the story of Lydia Nichols and Wes Covington. Lydia is in Aspen Cove to help out her sister and Doc Parker in the “clinic” in Aspen Cove. The clinic consists of an exam room in the back of the pharmacy. She had just left her job in an ER in a Denver hospital and can’t wait to get back to one. She is at a crossroads in her life and eager for her next step.

Wes Covington has already reached his crossroad and successfully crossed it. He is a descendant of one of the founding families in town and is refurbishing his ancestral home. Wes had already had the bright lights of the big city and happily traded them in for life in Aspen Cove.

From the moment they meet Lydia and Wes are trading flirtatious barbs. She thinks he’s a dumb construction worker and he thinks she’s like Malibu Barbie. Eventually the flirtatious banter leads to a relationship.

I am enjoying this series and each book seems to be better than the last. Lydia and Wes make a great couple and their journey is a great ride.

Favorite cheesy quote, upon walking in on Wes in the shower: “The body of Zeus with the hammer of Thor.”

Kelly knocks it out of the park

This whole series has special meaning, the author captures strong alpha males and heroines that need to figure their life out. Lydia comes to Aspen Cove, which has a way to help people find themselves. What she finds is a tall dark and handsome alpha, who steals her breathe. I loved the premises of the story and what it stands for. Wes pushes Lydia to be her best and to shot for the stars.

Wes💘Lydia! Wonderful Story & Listen🎧 Heartfelt!

Kelly Collins delivers another wonderful “Aspen Cove Romance” novel. This is the fourth in her series and I loved every single one. Each novel is set in Aspen Cove and features a different couple, characters from earlier books reappear in each novel too. Not unusual since Aspen Cove is a tight knit community and they look out for each other. This is Wes and Lydia’s story, Lydia is Sage’s sister, she is a doctor who just finished med school and planned on working in the city hospital but poor decisions and a bad breakup ruined those plans. While applying for positions in other hospitals she comes to stay in Aspen Coven to cover for Doc Parker who was injured in a fire. Small town is not her thing but it will have to do for now and the big plus she is near her sister again. Wes, left his big job in the big city to be closer to his roots and to restore a home that has been in his family for years. He cuts himself badly while working and goes to the clinic to get stitched up. Lydia goes to treat him, but when he sees the needle he faints. When she gets buzzed out of the apartment she was staying in because of a bee takeover with no rooms available at the inn or anywhere in town Wes was nice enough to let her stay in one of his rooms. I loved these two together, the chemistry between them was smoking. It was great how honest they were with each other, how they could just be themselves. Also loved how level headed Wes was, doing the right thing and letting her go so she could live her dream. And it just goes to show you dreams changes and what we thought we wanted is not what we wanted at all. I loved how their story played out, Kelly Collins is a master at writing and plotting beautiful stories that are relatable and realistic. She brings you into the characters world, allows you to see and feel what they are going through, the ups, the downs, the smiles along the way and most importantly at the end. Thank you for another great story, I am looking forward to the next one, I hope there are plans for it to come to Audible soon.

I listened to the Audible edition, Logan McAllister is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. He does a great job projecting the emotions of the characters into his performance, as well as he drama of the story. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Small town romance with heart

This is the fourth book in this series and this series is just so sweet. There isn't a lot of angst or erotic moments, but it's perfect small town romance.

We got to hear about Lydia early on in the series in book 1 when her sister Sage moved to town. I knew that eventually Lydia would end up in Aspen Cove. She meets her perfect match in Wes, who is an ultimate book boyfriend. He falls for her early on, but wonders if he is is enough to make her stay.

This series is heart warming and funny and has characters that will live in your heart forever. Another good read in the series.

The narrator did a great job bringing this town to life. There are a lot of different characters and I enjoyed his narration of each.

Great Read

One Hundred Promises (Aspen Cove #4) was a good read by Kelly Collins. Lydia Nichol’s finished her residency at Denver General Hospital when life delivered several blows she never expected. Her boss, and long time boyfriend, moved on with a nurse and took Lydia’s job with him. She now has no job and no options, so she moves to Aspen Cove as a favor to her sister. She takes a temporary job as the clinic doctor. She wants to leave almost immediately, that is until she meets Wes Covington. She may have just found her reason to stay for the time being. Wes Covington left everything behind in Denver for a simple small town life. He is restoring his ancestral home and wants to find a good woman who’ll love him for who he is and not what he’s worth. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.

I love Aspen Cove!💜

Who doesn’t love a small town romance? These stories are well written and so much fun. Mostly chemistry, kindness and comradely keeps this town together. A little drama to keep it interesting and always life lessons. I love this series. Logan McAllister does a fantastic job bringing Aspen Cove to life. This is book 4 in this series and can be read as a standalone.
I highly recommend this book/series.

Another Great Collaboration

The fourth book in the Aspen Cove series and I am happy to report that pink paper and envelopes returned. This story was quite amusing as I grew up similar to Wes in that I have also never teepeed a house. I loved hearing the fun but harmless stunts.

Ms. Collins continued her great ability of weaving in characters from previous novels and adding new ones for us to love. I’ve come to enjoy trying to figure out which characters will be the focus of the next book. I am eager to continue the series. I am sure at this point that Mr. McAllister could read the phone book and I’d be riveted. He is certainly one of my favorite narrators.

I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

Enjoyable & Good Narration

Lydia finishing her residency , losing her boyfriend and job. Taking a temporary one for her sister. Then meeting Wes, just might change her mind, He is back to Aspen Cove wanting someone to love for himself, not the dollar sign. Adorable and enjoyed. The narration by Logan McAllister brought this story to life. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
