Back in Aspen Cove

I love it when you meet a character in one book, and then get to hear their story in the next release! Ms. Collins does just this with One Hundred Desires. We met Vivian in One Hundred Dreams -she’s Val’s sister and now the CEO of Vortex Security. In this book, she comes to Aspen Cove to meet her new niece and ends up working for Red – another character that we’ve met repeatedly in Aspen Cove. I love watching Vivian grow and become comfortable in her own skin. Throughout the story, she takes control of her life and makes decisions based on what is best for her – not just the family business. I also loved watching Red develop into a likeable human being. We’ve seen hints that he’s more than he appears, and this book does a great job of showing us what we guessed at. As per usual, Ms. Collins tells a wonderful story, allows us to catch up with some well loved residents of Aspen Cove, and lets us laugh out loud at various points in the story. This is a great read that will leave you smiling and looking forward to the next installment. I really want Jackson to get his HEA too!

well told story

Viv is five foot tall and full of surprises. Red doesn't know what to expect from her. I love the interplay between them. Logan McAllister is a great narrator.

Red finally redeems himself

It was lovely to finally get to know the real Red as he opens up about his life in this story.
He has been the bad boy, band member in past stories and has a bad reputation of being a womaniser.
After a few crazy incidents with a fan Red hires Viv and her security firm to oversee his protection.
All it takes is one very beautiful no nonsense, tiny woman coming into his life as well as a little pup and Red’s starting to see what true happiness could look like.
If only he could stay the course and not sabotage it.
I loved this story and enjoyed Red and Viv’s path to happiness.
Be it a little bumpy at times and dangerous others.
Another wonderful Aspen Cove addition to the series that I love.
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook that was narrated by Logan McAllister, he did an excellent job.

Great story told by a great voice

I LOVE Aspen Cove! I’ve read all f the stories so far and love all the folks in town. It’s a place I’d love to visit and then stay! This is the story of Viv and Red. Viv is Val’s (from One Hundred Dreams) sister and Red is the ex of Val’s new wife, Cameron. When Red gets a stalker, Viv becomes his new bodyguard and these total opposites are brought into each other’s lives, I loved the opposites attract and bring the best out in each other vibe. Red has been a total player and isn’t sorry about it but is self aware enough to know that his life is empty. Poor Viv is a hard worker in her family’s business only to discover that she might not have deserved the position she wants because they are babying her and not treating her with the respect she feels she deserves. So she goes against her older brother and takes the job as Red’s bodyguard to prove to him and anyone else who doubts her that she is a badass. She and Red spend a bunch of time together and for some odd reason seem to bring out the best in one another and grow close. This is a great story about figuring out what you really want out of life and surrounding yourself with people that bring out the best in you. I loved catching up with past couples and having the chance to revisit the sweet little town! Well done! And I loved the narration!

Another visit with friends

This was a another warm and cozy visit with friends from Aspen Creek. Once again Kelly Collin’s lets us view the lives of the people in the town, some new characters, some returning. The stories are like a visit with friends . The narration is great as always. And the characters are nicely developed. It can easily be read as a stand alone but it is richer if you have listened to others in the series. I was fortunate to have received a copy to review from the author and it is worth a credit.
