Pick five.

But... but how will I know who's my baby daddy?

It's my 28th birthday. They have imprisoned me to stop me from escaping. They know I don't want to be taken by the wolves - I'd rather be dead. But still, I'm taken, sold off by my own family for a few coins. Let's keep it real; my parents never loved me. I'm half expecting the wolves to eat me or something. But instead, I'm taken to a ceremonial palace.

I am to pick five husbands. I will live with them in a marriage home. Yeah, you heard that right. I'll also be expected to bear their children. The more children, the better...

Like, seriously?

I had barely accepted the idea of just one normal husband. But five werewolf shifter husbands? They can turn into vicious animals at the slightest provocation...

Five hungry, aggressive men who have not seen a woman in 100 years...

Yeah, 100 years.

How could I possibly handle all that?

The characters were great

I really enjoyed the first half of the story. The characters and world building really drew me in.

Not what I expected, but still good

So I saw the trailer for this audiobook on Facebook and I was immediately intrigued. I think, like most trailers, it made the book seem more dangerous, mysterious and violent then it actually was. Which is sort of a let down. The narrator, Ava Williams, was not the best. She did not even try to adjust her voice for the men, she made them sound like five boys that have hit puberty yet. They literally sound like little girls, which takes away from the title "...Five Hungry Beasts" That being said, it wasn't bad for such a short book. It almost feels like we should learn a little more about each werewolf instead of the small amounts we get. That being said, the character build up is a bit lacking. We only know enough about the men to tell the difference between them. I like the concept that the werewolves were actually from another planet and to keep them from war with humans, the deal is that they would get the first born daughter to help build up the community. Though, the way the village Martha is very rude and disgusting. The book was good. I'll be anxious to jump into the rest of the series.

Despite the cover…

This is a very respectful RH story, little competition and alpha behaviors. It’s set in a sci fi fantasy but just a little of of reality; it’s just sets the stage rather than is a primary part of the story. The ending may leave some begging for a future HEA, but the ends works.

Meh.... very little passion

or plot development. How did we go from villages to University and careers in fell swoop? Nice story to fantasize along with, but it was lacking any development.

Pretty good

I struggled with it at first because it was kind of slow at the beginning but, then it got good and I loved it in the end. It is definitely worth the read/listen too

Would not recommend

Stories line did not keep me interested. nodded off a few times and kept having to go back to catch what was done. no real entertainment or show of a real love interest in the romance. it was like there interaction was just sex no attachment really.

Yea , nooooooo!

This book is not want I thought. I kept listening hoping it would beget better but in the end I ended up being disgusted not fantasizing. There was no love, passion, lust or anything. Just a bunch of horny men wanting to stick it in her. They don’t seem to have desire . They say things like” when the rest of us get our turn” eww it just gross me out . Or “ wanna suck me off” yuck not even !! Gross!! Nothing sexy about that just desperate!
