Publisher's Summary
Lucy and her young family have moved to a cottage on a quiet lane in a peaceful coastal town. Her husband is moving work but she is running away from the memory of the son she lost. She wants a fresh start, but the house is not going to let her look to the future, not when the past has so much it wants to show her. The first night in the house will confuse her. The second night will terrify her. The third will change everything, because a door to the other side has opened and they are coming....

Really enjoyed
I listened to this book in 1 setting. The story kept me pulled in from start to finish. I found the story well written and scary and suspenseful. The narrator also did a great job. I would recommend reading.

Ghost meets Sci-Fi story
I think I would have liked this story better if it remained a ghost story. Although the Sci-Fi twist wasn't bad, I still prefer a good ghost story. I can't imagine having to live in a house with everything that family had to deal with and keep my sanity. Good story.

Horror Story
On the Third Night is a creepy horror tale with a twist at the end that you will not see coming. I like the creative storyline and the characters but fair warning the book does get a little technical at times. I do recommend this quick little listen the narrator was not my cup of tea but the story is worth it. I received this book for free and this is my honest unbiased opinion.

Haunted House?
Marc Everitt wrote a creepy haunted house story, with an increasing amount of tension and scariness as the pages unfolded, and ending with a surprising twist. I recommend this story to all who like this genre. I enjoyed it immensely. Kevin Theis does an excellent job with the narration, adding great enjoyment to the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.

a scary listen. leave the lights on
I loved this book. starts off as a typical haunted house story and I was a bit meh but it was so well done and really creepy at points. there's a real sense of looming peril hanging over the tale. I won't spoil the story for you but things are not what they seem and it is not really a ghost story at all. well worth a listen.
