Publisher's Summary

She's a tomboy. He's the boy next door. With three older brothers, Charlotte Reynolds, aka Charlie, has always been more comfortable calling the shots on a basketball court than flirting with the opposite sex. So when her police officer dad demands she get a summer job to pay for the latest in a long line of speeding tickets, she's more than a little surprised to find herself working at a chichi boutique and going out with a boy who has never seen her tear it up in a pickup game.

Charlie seeks late-night refuge in her backyard, talking out her problems with her neighbor and honorary fourth brother, Braden, sitting back to back against the fence that separates them. Braden may know her better than anyone. But there's a secret Charlie's keeping that even he hasn't figured out - she's fallen for him. Hard. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

On the Fence is a sweet and satisfying listen about finding yourself and finding love where you least expect it.

One the Fence

Spoilers? Not really, since I really didn't say much! Lol!

On the Fence, was a really good book, I should've been read this book. I couldn't stop listening to it once I started on it. Charlie, and Braden, I knew they were going to end up together close or at the end. That's how most stories end.

Also, the narrator did a good job when she was talking as both male and female.

Nice story

I liked the atmosphere of the story .. the narrator did a good job in capturing Charlie's voice, there were some things that bothered me in the story and some deep issues were brushed off like it wasn't a big deal but I liked it nonetheless .. not sure if I recommend it but if you do read be prepared for some insane time with Charlie's brothers :D

Loved it!!!

Just a sweet enjoyable story!!! I love the story, I love the twists, I love the serious issues involved and I love the anticipation!! The only problem with the story, like most, is once you get the build up and the anticipation comes the story is over!!! I would LOVE if there were some sequels to Kasie West's stories, like once these couples get together it would be nice to hear where life takes them!

Great book

Loved every chapter. The narration was spot on as well. Im glad the story continued after this climax for an extra two chapters to wrap up the loose ends. I recommend this one.

charming

West rarely has difficulty expressing humor wit and reality in her material, this story is no exception a teenage girl raised by 5 men and struggling in the beginning of her womanhood is one of the most frustrating feelings in the world!

Romance and a mystery

I liked this book twice as much the second time I listened. The first time through, I did not get it what was going on. But after hearing the book the first time, I thought about it a couple of weeks then listened to the whole book a second time. Each dialogue became more meaningful because now I knew the ending. I liked that the main character found a job in the shopping mall. For me finding a job was difficult, so I could relate to the feelings.
