The best fantasy story for children by far!

Could not sleep for want of finishing this book. The narrator was captivating! Every chapter ends in a cliff hanger! I loved the themes of bravery, duty, family, good that shines in the midst of evil. I am buying the whole Saga!

Witty, beautiful, and deeply insightful

I am a father of three young children who are not yet old enough for the Wingfeather Saga. Nevertheless, I have fallen in love with the series myself. From the outset, one learns that Peterson's writing style is witty. As the series progresses, movingly beautiful moments brought tears to my eyes. Peterson writes (and performs) eloquently with deep insight, plumbing the depths of human experience to communicate deep truths - truths with which adults must also wrestle. Amidst the brokenness, we can find beauty and hope.

captivating

I couldn't stop listening to this. The narration was excellent! I am a 57 year old woman, who got this for my 10 year old and 6 year old grandchildren but I started to listen and couldn't stop. I will listen again with them. This story helps me in my faith walk, this is how I think. As Christians we are in a world full of toothy fangs , physically and spiritually. When all hell brakes lose , fighting to destroy us, as servants of Christ, we will always have some sort of divine protection, we won't be taken out of the war but we will be protected and be brought through. I'm so looking forward to the rest of the saga.

Wonderful start to a four part saga

This is beautifully written and told. The characters are excellent. I am telling everyone about it as it seems to be well known in USA but not the UK

Absolutely love this book

Got this for us to listen to as a family. We talk about what we think of the book and what we think will happen. Really enjoyed the whole plot. I got so caught up and started listening to it without the kids 😂

Fantastic

I love the Wingfeather Saga. Having read the books, I was so happy that they were on Audible. The story is great for both children and adults, with a perfect mix of comedy, adventure and profound moments. Andrew Peterson's narration is amazing, He captures every character perfectly and bring so much life to these already great books.

Best series we’ve read!

The wingfeather Saga is a beautiful story, the 4-book collection thoroughly intricate and full of truth. Andrew Peterson had us laughing and crying (sometimes simultaneously). Truly a must-read, no matter your age, everyone will love it! While the first seems steadily slow in comparison, it is the necessary foundation for the whole series! Well done Andrew Peterson, we love your story, characters and your world!

Wholesome Fiction Fantasy Mild Thriller

In the feel of Vikings & pirates, a fantasy fiction world of monsters, dragons, heroism, and magic. A good verses evil story that plays out in four books. Includes drama, thriller, humor, war, adventure, and science fiction. Adults will enjoy alongside their pre-teens. This first book starts off slower, but does not stay there. Part way through book 1 and spiraling through the next three books is a roller coaster of adventure! My teen is part way through listening to them for the second time.
