Lack of tonal inference

I disliked the AI reading - while it was okay it lacked the tonal inference that an actor would give.

Virtual narrator ruined it

Story was weak but expected by cozy mystery, but having a virtual narrator made it more wooden. Would have been better in print. No emotion at finding dead person except delight in a mystery. For example.
