Publisher's Summary

Lady Amanda Golightly and her housemate Hugo Cholmondeley-Crichton-Crump return from their visit to Scotland to find a letter informing them that Hugo's sister will be arriving the following day for a month's visit, which sours Lady A's mood as Tabitha constantly bullied her at school.

Her manservant's announcement that he is now betrothed to Enid Tweedie, sort of friend and general gopher, has already unsettled her. If that wasn't enough, it appears that, while they were away, the security of Belchester Towers was breached and somebody is systematically killing off the staff.

Enter Detective Inspector Moody and Detective Sergeant Glenister, and all hell breaks loose.

very enjoyable

another enjoyable story!
good characters, tabitha was a hot pain in the butt! I loved her affect on everyone in the household. the narrator did an excellent job, as usual, especially with the Edwards. the cocktail recipes are a lovely bonus, especially during the end of the year. Happy reading!

Fun, and funny cozy English murder mystery

This has the sensibility of a Jeeves and Wooster story with two upper class elderly but active friends and their impossibly competent and ubiquitous manservant, Beauchamp who solve the murder mysteries that crop up wherever they are. The plots are light, entertaining but not overly complex. The real story is the endearing, terribly funny characters and the brilliant way they are voiced by Patrica Gallimore. I so enjoy the little world these characters inhabit and their delightful dialogue. I wish Audible had all the books in this series but they don’t as of yet.

Another wonderfully funny escape..

This is the 4th in this series. Absolutely hysterical again, Patricia Gallimore nails every single character, which must be a very difficult thing to do.
I cannot wait for the 5th, and please Andrea Frazer keep writing these amazingly different stories.
