Recently, Zach and Sierra experienced a terrifying emergency with their baby—one of those moments no parent ever wants to face. In the middle of the night, the Owlet alert went off, and it ended up being the warning that may have saved a life.

We’re sharing exactly what happened, how quickly things unfolded, and why this moment compelled us to speak up. Our goal isn’t to scare anyone, but to share our experience in case it helps another family recognize a warning sign, trust their instincts, or take action when it matters most.
