This such a wonderful book to listen to! Shayne did an amazing job telling this story! I can't wait to find out what happens next to Charlotte, Valek, and the rest of their little family! This will be a continuous favorite of mine for years to come!!

The Best Book Series I Ever Owned!
I absolutely LOVED IT! Shayne has done a fantastic job and it feels like I'm there the entire journey!! It makes you want to travel to Prague and feel the magic there. This is by far the best vampire series I have ever owned since I did not like the ending of the Twilight series. Shayne has redemmed the world of the vampires and this is one I truly recommend to read!!

Excellent narration!
I really enjoyed Joel Froomkin's narration and the variety of voices he used for this audiobook were great. However, Charlotte's dialogue was a bit too childish for the 18 - 19 year old she was supposed to be. It took a while for me to dive into the book because listening to the first few minutes reminded me too much of a Bela Lugosi Dracula. After a few more minutes in though, I was hooked!
The story had so many different "scenes", and I was surprised it fit in one book. The ending started to get a bit cheesy, but overall, I thought this was a very entertaining listen.

Fantastic! A must read!
Shayne brought me to a place where I didn't want to escape. Wonderful landscaping, exceptional characters, all unique and intriguing. Magical, scary and yet heart warming, adventurous, exciting and much more. The main characters are very well written and I'm definately team Charlotte! You must read this, it was worth every moment! looking forward to part 2 & a movie of course!
