Publisher's summary

Millions of readers/listeners have fallen in love with the San Francisco and Seattle Sullivans. Now get ready to fall head over heels for the New York Sullivans!

World-renowned artist Drake Sullivan doesn't paint women. Ever. Not when he knows all too well just how destructive painter/muse relationships can be. But on the day Rosa Bouchard walks onto the cliffs outside his Montauk cottage, Drake is so captivated that he can't stop himself from bringing her to life on canvas.

Shocked and horrified by the nude photos of her that have just hit the Internet, reality TV star Rosa's every instinct is to run from her Miami home and hide. After driving all night, she ends up in Montauk, New York, where she doesn't know a soul and plans to lie low until she can figure out how to deal with the media firestorm - and her own mother, who seems all too happy to sell out Rosa's happiness for more fame, more fans, and more money. The very last thing Rosa expects is to find, and to fall for, a sinfully sexy man like Drake Sullivan.

Drake has never felt this way about anything he's painted...and he's definitely never felt this way about a woman. When they kiss, everything but sweet, breathless desire melts away. But can he convince Rosa to trust - and to love - again after such a devastating betrayal?

Fell in love within the first few minutes.

This book was beautiful. The writing is amazing. But let's talk about the audiobook! It's not easy finding an audio/narrator I like. Eva Kaminsky did an AMAZING job. She was so spot on. The opening scene was so touching and it needed the perfect level of emotion. Eva brought it. I was stuck on this book.
Okay, back to the book itself. I may love rockstars to a fault, but an artist in a funk? *fans self* Whoo, Drake is something. I hate what Rosa was going through, on top of missing her father. Terrible! But like everything in life, there's a light in the darkness to help her forget everything. Absolutely love it.

Loving this series

This is a story about the crème de la crème of society. Where one thinks money could solve their problems, it can actually bar them from finding real happiness.

Drake Sullivan, a painter experiencing painter’s block is starting to panic. All his brothers are filthy rich and successful. He is, too, but if this painter’s block continues… Will he ever be able to paint again with the passion necessary to create a great piece?
When he meets Rosa Bouchard, he is captured by her beauty, both in physical form and the spirit which lays beneath her skin. Dying to paint her, he needs to coax her into not running from him. He finds much more in this beauty than he expected, and feels something he never has before.

Rosa is running from past decisions, made to keep her family together, but now the game has turned nasty. Money can’t buy the peace of mind she needs. She’s an emotionally intriguing character who is easy to relate to because many have done things in the past to stave off the worst — a means of survival and don’t know the next step to freedom. Rosa and her mom and brothers have risen to the top of society only to realize how fragile and lonely that apex could be. The changes she needs to make in her life don’t come easily. The story is written compellingly with several threads of rich secondary characters and subplots which gear to the continuation of the series.

Drake is a multi-textured characters, with his own strengths and his inner fragility. Where he is there to support Rosa, he has his own demons to overcome. I really like the way the author brings how important family is into the story.

The narrator is an animated storyteller, with a girl-next-door energy and down-to-earth portrayal of feelings which found me nodding in perfect understanding and sympathy. The author certainly has captured my interest in this most charming series.

Never a dull moment with the Sullivans

Another chance to dive into the world of the Sullivans. One of my favorite families the Sullivans and their lives are full of adventure, love and hope. Definitely a story to pick up. I love how the lovers are often from very different worlds and yet when they come together the world fades to the point where they can deal with anything together. Always a chance to spend some time with a love story where it isn't just they got together and fell in love. Like a real family they have their ups and downs but together they can do it all!

I Want To Listen to Whitney or Dolly!

I Want To Listen to Whitney or Dolly!

This is #01 of the New York Sullivan's Series, and #15 of the Sullivan's Series by Bella Andre.

HEA, NO cheating, NO cliffhangers!

Even though these are listed as being able to be read as standalones, they are connected by characters. I always advise to read in order to get the most out of the experience

Content Warning: There is SEX! Both in thoughts and actions.

♥ Story ♥

This is technically #01 in a spin-off series, but it is also part of the bigger Sullivan world. I did not have any problem starting with this one, but I did feel like I was missing out of some of the back story details. I now want to go back to the beginning and read the prior 14.

Drake Sullivan is some-what of recluse with painter-block. He hates being asked uncomfortable questions about his parents, as that seems to be the topic the press fixate on instead of his very successful art career. Drake spots Rosa on the cliffs by his house in a distressed state and he wants her, both to paint and to rescue. He has sworn never to paint a woman as that is what made his father lose his mind, but he can't help himself.

Rosa Bouchard is trying to hide from the world and the relentless press. She is part of a reality show with her family similar to the Kardashians, with her being the equivalent to Kim. Pictures were taken of her illegally getting in and out of the bath, and have made their way into all the papers and magazines. She goes to the cliffs because they remind her of her deceased father and meets a sexy painter that offers to take care of her for the opportunity to paint her. He encourages her to pursue her own art en-devours of painting with thread, which sounds totally awesome!

This story has a lot of heart as well as steam, which is the best kind of story. It also has an adorable dog named Oscar who totally steals the show! It ends somewhat abruptly, but I think it may pick up close to where this ends in the next book as they were laying the ground work for it. I would recommend you get #02 upfront so you don't have to wait to continue reading.

♥ Author ♥

Bella Andre is quickly winning my heart and I am looking forward to more as well as want to go back to the first Sullivan book and read the whole series.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥

Eva Kaminsky performance was excellent. There were clear distinctions between her male and female characters. I did pick up a smidge of Irish accent in the recording. It is not very noticeable and it didn't interfere with my listening enjoyment. If anything it made me giggle.

♥ Audio Production ♥

Normal speed was fine.

A little disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bella Andre! I have listen to absolutely every single one of her books and I've loved every minute of it. I love the story of all the Sullivans, in San Francisco and Seattle and have waited patiently to listen to the new Sullivans. But I have to admit after listening to this one, although I enjoyed it, it just seemed a little flat. We seem to have spent more time having sex then really developing the story it seems a little trite. It had potential but it's like she needed to get the book done versus really developing the story.

Love this series

This book is a 5 star! I love how it dealt with insecurities, grief, self blame. Yet it showed the softer side of how a tight knit family and friends can help loved ones to overcome some of those issues. It showed us no one is perfect despite what we look like on the outside. IT'S TRULY AMAZING WHAT TRUE LOVE CAN DO....IT CAN UNLEASH FEELINGS YOU THOUGHT WERE BURIED! IT CAN LET YOU LOVE AGAIN!!!!😉

"Now That I've Found You" by Bella Andre

My Thoughts...

This novel was right up there with all the other Sullivan novels by this author...and this one "Now That I've Found You was simply excellent! And yes, I have read them all. Truly Drake Sullivan [sexy and intense] and Rosa Bouchard [sweet and passionate] were definitely meant for each other ...a 'Reality TV Star and a Artist.' But getting there will not be a easy ride with each of these two characters who had some flaws to get over. This was a beautifully well written story of just how that will happen. Not wanting to spoil anything but only to say you must pick up the well written story and listen or read it for yourself. The setting where this story takes place is simply beautiful....in the 'Montauk and the Adirondacks.' The characters..Drake, Rosa, with the New York Sullivans [Suzanne, Harry, Alex and William] were simply well developed, defined and oh so believable giving the reader one interesting read. Now, we Sullivan fans will be waiting for the next novel about another NY Sullivan series.

they are back . . . this time NYC

The Sullivans’ are back. I have loved getting to know this family over the years. This was the first time that I was able to find an immediate kinship with the two characters before I had the chance to fulling be invested in their romance. I loved watching Drake and Rosa fall. This was not a copy of what has been done in the series. This was an opening to a different beginning for two souls. The reality star and an artist did not seem to make a connection but the path they were both on showed that we all can have someone to connect with.

Narration from Eva Kaminsky has made me feel like I was coming home. She has that voice the smooths the road and makes it all worth the wait for the next installment. She makes it all come to life and gives you a deeper connection to the characters. I love her smooth flow of diction and pacing. I found the audio to be a perfect complement to Bella Andre’s work.

Lovely characters with great background

Oh, I loved it so much! I loved the main characters, I loved their background, I loved the narration and the writing! I have that I have not followed the series from the beginning. Because the Sullivans are a big family and “Now That I’ve Found You” is book #15 from “The Sullivans” and book #1 from “The New York Sullivans”. I am so behind!

Ok, review. Both characters are trying to find a balance in their lives and both are running, one from something, the other towards something else. Rosa is hiding from the scandal involving some naked pictures of her (taken without her consent) that appeared in the press. Drake wants his muse back. He has to deliver his paintings for the next exhibition, but no ideas what to paint. So they both heal each other. What happens when reality comes and decisions have to be made? Read all about it!

I loved the amount of creativity in this book and the passion (not only between the main characters) they both put into their creations. Yes, Drake is in need of a muse, but Rosa is reconnecting with an old passion. There is a scene where they spend time each working with their talents. I loved that scene, it made my day since I am a lover of art and all things sewing.

Characters are developed, writing is beautiful, meaningful and passionate. Family, as a theme, is analyzed as well. Rosa’s mother is looking for public appreciation more than her daughter’s well-being. Drake’s father is running from his pain and painting.

The narrator was excellent. Her kind and warm voice gave life to feelings and meaning to emotions. I was scared at times that she will not be able to keep up the male voices, but she did it wonderfully. But her focus was mainly on capturing all the sentiments that accompanied every page.

Suffice to say I give this book 5 out of 5 stars and I cannot wait to go through the other two books in “The New York Sullivans”. Until then, do your best to catch up with these books, they are worth it!
