Publisher's Summary

Here's the classic TV comedy sketch show that launched the careers of Rowan Atkinson, Griff Rhys Jones, Mel Smith, and Pamela Stephenson. Written by some of Britain's finest comedy writers, including Richard Curtis, Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, and David Renwick, the show was groundbreaking, irreverent, outrageous, innovative, and rude.

This compilation includes many classic sketches and songs, such as "(I Like) Trucking". "England My Leotard", "Nice Video (Shame About the Song)", the "Two Ninnies" song, and "Kinda Lingers".

A classic from the BBC

I grew up listening to Not the Nine O'Clock on tape, and I still laugh out loud at every sketch. Atkinson, Jones, Smith, and Stephenson pull no punches and obey no strictures of political correctness. "Constable SAVAGE!"

Very good.

I was hoping that this would be the recording of both of the NTNOCN albums but it isn't.
It was still very good all the same.

A bit dated and the second album is inferior

Great nostalgia with some flashes of brilliance. The opening intro is probably the best bit!

Good Old Hedgehog Sandwich

I have the LP' s (that's vinyl to our younger readers) of Not The Nine O'clock News, but unfortunately nothing to play them on. This audio book, while not a complete replacement for my record set is a jolly good second best. And being Audible, I can take it with me out and about!
