Christian Suffering and Hardship

Our church had a class on this book, and my sweetheart husband of 45 yrs. and I fell in love with this book and the workbook! He had been suffering from severe depression and anxiety for 5 yrs. and had been in 8 psychiatric hospitals as an inpatient. We tried every treatment we could think of to get him well, and kept praying and believing that the Lord would restore his brain. This book is a Godsend and a true blessing for anyone Suffering from long term illnesses or a long term time of trials and hardship! Sadly, my sweetheart passed away 6 months ago in his sleep in his last psychiatric hospital stay, so now he has his right mind in Heaven with Jesus, and I am still in love with this book! It is helping me with my grief for his loss. It is sad to say, but churches and Christian Leaders do not prepare us on how to handle these long term illnesses and hardships! There's not enough guidance in our churches for these types of circumstances! In fact, I'm leading a Bible Study now with this book and the workbook for our Grace Haven Ministries (women coming right out of prison and jail) desiring to turn their lives around, and they love it, too! The author also has videos on Right Now Media that you can use! May this book be as much of a blessing to you as it was for my sweetheart and continues to be for me and our Grace Haven girls!!!
