Honest and Heartfelt

MK is a bright light in the world. I admire her honesty about her religious upbringing, and the confusion discovered that she questioned. She is a comfort to others who have gone through similar things. She has a way with words that makes you feel like you’re sitting chatting with your best friend over coffee.

Real & raw honesty

I've been a fan of MK since seeing her viral reel on FB years ago. I've followed her journey and read all 3 books. Actually listened to this one. I've been in a similar situation with church since covid and it's been very enlightening listening to her journey. She pulls no punches in calling herself out, and not attacking others but questioning a lot of things that church teaches. This is an excellent listen or read!!

MK did not disappoint!

im not great at reviews but its such a great book that allows the reader room to stop and ask themselves the big questions! MK lights way for the readers by showing the way of her own path thru religion, life and spirituality. You absolutely dont need to be religious in any way to still benifit greatly from the stories and perspectives offered! I promise you wont regret spending an afternoon listening! 💜

Clever, funny, and relatable for everyone who has ever sat in a Sunday School class knowing what you are “supposed to believe” and “supposed to say” but unable to bring yourself to say it. Beautifully and truthfully written
