This book was one of the most unique shifter romances I’ve ever read! No animals here, the shift is into…a recliner. Not just any recliner, a cursed recliner who’s been stuck in this form for decades, and can only shift back to his human form when he finds his fated mate. The problem? He’s a 70s style mustard yellow chair with rips in his leather, and everyone just walks past him. Then comes Maverick: a lovely pastry chef with a broken heart who just wants to be loved.
