A Danvers Novel

Suzy Denton thought she had it all: a great job as an event planner for Danvers International and a committed relationship to her high school sweetheart...

But now her life has gone to hell in a hand-basket. Not only did she discover her fiancé cheating, but a recent corporate merger is making her job very difficult—mostly due to Grayson Merimon, wealthy CEO. Gray is a man who goes after what he wants. And, after their first meeting, he wants Suzy.

Even though he looks like every fantasy she’s ever had, Suzy is wary of the powerful businessman. She likes her newfound independence, even if her best friend thinks it’s an excuse not to risk her heart again. Besides, she doesn’t think Gray could ever be interested in a relationship with someone like her. When he calls her bluff, Suzy agrees to one night together.

But when circumstances continue to throw them together—and with Gray determined to show her that two opposites can be a perfect fit—Suzy realizes that she might just have found the one man who can give her what she always needed….

I actually loved this book along with the first book "Weekends Required" Couldn't put either down. I also thought that Allyson Ryan did a great job. Her female characters sounded a little giddy at times but she clearly made up for it with her male characters. There are some really really bad narrators out there so I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait for the third book in the series and I hope the same narrator is used (but I do hope Beth's voice is tweaked a bit but still looking forward to it)

Loved this series!

Good follow up to book 1... It's the best friend's turn... Same M.O. as book 1... well worth the buy or sale...

Narration good..

Nice follow up

I enjoyed the first book in this series but this was so far fetched it was ridiculous.
Who buys a house on the spot and can move in same day no matter how much money he had.
The sex scenes could have been cut by half or at least varied a bit so repetitive in the terrible breathy voice the narrator had. The book was very repetitive you could skip chapters and pick up where you left off. I skimmed thru this book.

Don't Bother

Its hard to know if this book is worthwhile because, for the first time ever, I was unable to listen to the narration. It is shrill, melodramatic, and so annoying that I just couldn't finish it. I managed to make it to the end in the first book in the series, but the voice used for the main character in this one was unbearable.

Awful Narration

What would have made Not Planning on You better?

This book is just awful, from the writing to the narration.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Yes!

Any additional comments?

I am returning this one.

I didn't make it very far, the narration is awful. Total waste of a credit.
