Epic. Now I want to see the movie!

The characters were so well developed. The writing is so great that I had no problem stepping into this world. I couldn’t stop listening and will be thinking about the D and C days for a long time.

Great book

This book and the preceding book were excellent in my opinion. These were the first books I have read by this author. Glad I did. He devoted time and detail, not shortchanging for creating a shorter book. I thought it was just right for the depth the story was taking. It would be nice to see a 3rd book if he can develop a storyline that makes sense and not lose originality. Well worth the price.

Still good

Good, just not quite as good as the first book. It felt a bit rushed and a little transparent in spots. Loved the narrator!

Good Sequel

I think follow-up books are the toughest to pull off, but this one really measured up to book one. Worth buying.

Not a disappointment

Craig Falconer delivers spectacularly in this follow-up to Not Alone! I’d have given it 100 stars if Audible allowed it. Totally worth the time and money, just like the first one. Well written, plenty of humor, an intricately woven and told story that hits all the right nerves in exactly the right ways. Cronin’s narration is spot on yet again, to the point where I still have a hard time believing there’s only one narrator—especially when it comes to the dialogue of Emma and Tara; he may not quite be at the level of a Luke Daniels or Oliver Wyman he’s absolutely perfect for these books. Well done all around!

Hard to stop listening

An action packed story from beginning to end. Most sequels don’t live up to the original stories they were drawn from but this is a notable exception. The narrator was excellent. If you want a good listen, pick this book.

Pretty Good but Not as Good as the First One

The first novel was excellent and while this one was good, it was not quite up to par (compared to the first installment). Falconer is a great author and he does an exceptional job developing the characters (especially with the protagonist). This was good but it felt like it had a bit of filler compared to the first.

Excellent Sci-fi!!!!

What happened to Timo's accent from Book 1? The narrator's forced deep voice for Clark and some other characters finally started to grate on me after the 2 books, but I actually cried when I thought something bad had happened and couldn't help but chuckle out loud at other parts.
I loved this story more than the last 6 books I've listened to. I was on the edge of my seat at parts. A really great listen!

nice follow up

A good follow up to Not Alone. It wasn't perfect but it was enjoyable. I'd reccomend it.
