    "Nice escapism."

Fun to listen to vintage radio short mysteries. Distracting, quick, enjoyable. Each story is short enough to enjoy while running errands, etc.

"Old Time Radio At Its Best."

This is an excellent old time radio program. It would be ridiculous to compare it to a Rex Stout novel... obviously. But it is a wonderful representation of old time radio theater at its best, featuring a cast that is second to none.

    "Not true to type"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Not really recommended. While the character names are the same as Rex Stout's creations, their actions and speaking miss the mark entirely. I realize that these are old radio recordings, so that is the only redeeming factor- the vintage of the production. If they were not billed as Nero Wolfe and Archie, it would be OK. I don't like others messing with classics, for instance-WOLFE NEVER GIGGLES but he does in this series. Ugh.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Sydney Greenstreet?

    maybe

Was The New Adventures of Nero Wolfe worth the listening time?

kept my mind occupied while doing chores.
