When I listened to book one, of this series, there were no other books available, from audible, from this series. I had the first book, although I admit I abhorred the Heroine in this book, in book one. She was a spoiled, bitter brat, but she redeemed herself, by the end.

In this book, she had become more mature but, she still has a ways to go. Her immature thoughts and actions did annoy me, at times, but I had developed an affection for her, by the end of the book.

The Hero was more worldly, however, his dishonesty at the beginning was a strike against him. His preferable bed sport had BDSM tendencies, but that didn’t bother me, in the least😉

I have liked that the setting, of this series, has been unique, in this genre. However, the Pagan religious sacrifices, turned my stomach.

My biggest complaint, with this author, is the abrupt endings, of her books. I wish there was an epilogue, at least.

With that being said, I hope that more of this series will be added, to audible. Only time will tell.
