Interesting Story
Interesting characters, esp. Nonna Maria. Intriguing plot set in an exotic locale. I could have wished for more detail about the food! A most enjoyable story.

Preachy and, quite frankly, not much of a mystery
The protagonist is a bit too smug for my taste. And author really beats us over the head with the moral conclusion we’re supposed to be understanding.

I Couldn’t Finish
This story is so awful I couldn’t finish the book. Don’t buy it. It isn’t well-written and is so child-like. Ugh. I tried returning it and even they wouldn’t take it back.
