Inspirational

Very interesting. Couldn't stop listening to it. Highly recommend it. The narrator has a pleasant voice and very expressive. Sylvia Brown has been a blessing to so many people.

True Fan

I am a true Sylvia Browne fan; as far as I'm concerned, she can do no wrong. I love the information that is provided in her books, although this is not the best book by her, I still loved it. One thing I wish was different would be for Sylvia to have narrated it herself...the last book by her I listened to, she narrated it, and it was a nice personal touch.

Enjoyable

Thank goodness the author used a narrator this time instead of her own unfortunately gruff, scratchy voice. I enjoyed the stories included in the book; however, I just was disappointed that she didn't include more of her own encounters with ghosts than other people's accounts. Still a very enjoyable read, though, and I liked the narrator's voice.

Absolutely! I told a few of my friends about this book because she explains the afterlife so well, in a way you can relate to, without fear.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Visits from the Afterlife?

Her moments with the singers really struck a "chord" with me! Amazing! Also, her encounter with Marilyn Monroe.

What does Jeanie Hackett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I feel the voice adds so much more to the story, therefore by simply reading a book, you miss a lot of the inflections that add to the feel of the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she spoke to John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix!

Is this a shortened version?

Is this audio version shorter than the written version? I swear, I've read this book before and specifically recall her talking about The Black Dahlia and Bela Legosi but neither parts were in this audio book? Weird.

Sylvia's books are chock full of information

I used to give Sylvia's books 4 stars, reduced from 5, because I felt she used too many words to make her point. Although that hasn't changed she rates s full 5 with me now because her books are so full of information, I find myself listening to them over and over now. I highly recommend these books for anyone trying to find their way on the subject. Sylvia's books were a jump start to many more good finds in the Spirit realm. God bless Sylvia, and my mom for recommending her.

I really like the way she involves her listeners whether they are new listeners or have been with her from the start she makes you feel at home and reassures you of our eternal home with God on the other side no matter what religion you believe. it makes me want to read more of her books and I wish she was still around today pick a part and ask questions but may she rest in peace on the other side. what an amazing woman an amazing life she lived.
