Publisher's summary

America has been craving leadership - and at last a gun-slinging, mega-rock star, deerslayer, and patriot has stepped forward to provide it.

Make way for Ted Nugent.

Cocked, locked, and ready to rock, the Motor City Madman, the thinking man's Abraham Lincoln, has unleashed the ultimate high-octane political manifesto for the ages in Ted, White, and Blue - the most important patriotic statement since the Constitution.

In Ted, White, and Blue you'll discover:

  • Why war is the answer to so many of our current problems
  • Why if Ted were a Mexican, he'd start a revolution (and how, since he's not, we can control our own borders)
  • How to put Uncle Sam on a diet (a waste-watchers program for government)
  • The Ted Plan for energy independence by 2018 - how to keep America rockin' into the future
  • How to change the world for the better through the power of God, guns, and rock 'n' roll

If you care about America, if you want to preserve, protect, and defend the land of the free and the home of the brave, if you're fed up with lazy, whining, fear-mongering, government-gorging Al Gores, Michael Moores, and Obamaniacs, then you need to hear Ted, White, and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto.

    Critic reviews

"I love Ted's music, his message, and his unapologetic, manly approach to life. If you like words carefully and slowly simmered with a sweet sauce, you'll hate this book. If you like a message that's fresh, rare, and highly seasoned, and pure meat, you're gonna love this! Rock on!" (Mike Huckabee)

Cuts to the Chase, Hard Hitting

Great book that gets right to the meat (deer meat of course) about the problems with our country and How to Live a Great Full Life for yourself. I have never been a huge fan of Ted's genre of must but I am now a huge fan of Uncle Ted. Rock on. I think I am gonna make my teenage daughters read this. It has such great common sense encouragement to living an excellent life with a great work ethic.

    Wow...the man did his homework

Ted does have some tongue and cheek humor to point out the obvious that sadly is missing in today's politics. This is an audio every young adult is given before going off to college so that they are not reduced to sniveling wimps that the universities like to produce.

    Great book

I love Ted and his way of thinking. This world would be a better place if more people thought and acted like Ted. Ted for president in 2012

    Common Sense served with enthusiasm

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would certainly recommend this book.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

It's presented with unapologetic enthusiasm. There is no tip-toeing or fear of offending anyone.

    Any additional comments?

It's amazing that Ted's views are considered by many to be "extreme" and "controversial". For the most part, they are just good, basic common sense. Don't do drugs. Don't get drunk. Eat well. Exercise. Spend less money than you earn. Bathe. Work hard. Improve yourself. Discipline your children. Be responsible for yourself. Elect people who do the same. That pretty much sums up Ted's Manifesto. It's mind-boggling that people take issue with these "over the top" concepts.

    Good point, tough listen.

I liked most of what Ted had to say. However, soon it became more and more difficult to listen to "The Nudge" as he ranted and raved. His thoughts may offer a good foundation for a book, but his voice does not lend itself to narration. At one point, I wondered if Thedocious had just been given a thesaurus and wanted to use as many synonyms as possible.

    Aren't I just the BEST??

What disappointed you about Ted, White, and Blue?
I grew up listening to Ted Nugent's music, and loved it. I was curios to see what he had to say, and wow. What a narcissistic fool he has become. Just because you play a mean guitar, doesn't make you a Rhodes Scholar. I wish I could unhear what he said in this piece of garbage that stole hours of my life. Thankfully, I only made it halfway through before I had to put my iPhone down and use the bathroom. It doesn't cover his thing about pedophilia. What an absolute piece of crap he is, and so is his book. For anyone that buys this book: bring a barf bag or a bucket.

Has Ted, White, and Blue turned you off from other books in this genre?
    Yes

Would you be willing to try another one of Ted Nugent’s performances?
    No

What character would you cut from Ted, White, and Blue?
    Ted Nugent

    Any additional comments?
