Neat idea but...

This book was a neat idea but I'm of the opinion the print version would be better than the audio. Reason being, these are old opinion columns that cover happenings the reader may (or may not) recall. If the reader had the print version he or she could just flip to the next column of interest. Fast-forwarding audible.com material is frustrating to say the least.

Interesting read

I like Ann Coulter. She is witty and always provides a interesting point of view. However, while I'm sure she's a crack lawyer, she is not a crack researcher and thus my problems with her book. She has a tendency to repeat herself over and over and it gets annoying.

Whoa, easy to forget, "people" been stupid!

Well, unless you appreciate some nestalgia, I myself do, don't purchase. Because it's a timeline of our development or lack there of as a country. After it's quaint to see how it's been this bad for a while. The lack of long term resistance is more than a bit daunting.

I wish Ann could have read the whole thing...

The book is awesome, but it should have been read completely by Ann Coulter. Somehow her words just don't sound right comming out of someone else's mouth.

Ann did a great job with this book, she sure can write!

Fun, but why did Ann not read this one herself?

The book is a fun listen, but I was not happy that unlike her other books, this one is not read by the author. The soundalike reader is ok, but misses some of Ann's wry inflection on certain topics.

Good listening, but don't expect much new.

I like her show and enjoy her columns. I was expecting new material, but instead this book is a collection of her columns. They are (as usual) quite pointed and always fun, especially in hindsight. Still a good listen, just don't expect a bunch of new material.

Narration leaves alot to be desired

Ann should really be the one reading these. The content is interesting if you can get by the narrator's voice, is the narrator a democrat? Possibly.

The content is about her writings and sayings and Ann defending herself, interesting if your a Coulter fan like me, or are researching the truth.

Unique WorldView

Ann Coulter is not an "ordinary" conservative/Republican/sane (right-thinking!) pundit who appears on the TV shoutfests ... she's a unique thinker about many topics concerning life today.

The best part of this collection of her columns is the pieces that were never published, some going back to her early days before fame and notoriety kicked in!

It is interesting to hear how strong her views and voice were from the get-go and although many columns relate to then-current events, it is well worth your while to take a trip down memory lane with Ann for a thought-provoking view of things.

For example, her piece on dating in Washington makes one wonder how ever did JFKerry and Teresa Heinz57 ever got together ... they had to have met outside the beltway!
