Dinosaur in a Haystack:

The unabridged edition is masterpiece of collective leanings, covering a quandary of disciplines. Just to test ones vocabulary is worth this rendition of essays. Dr. Gould has over the years provided provocative and enlighten insights that have affecting our current educational protocol. From Dennis the short starting the ongoing controversy when does the century start, to the swirl of mollusk shells pertaining to publishing technique is just a brief illustration the diversity of this manuscript.
I bought the unabridged edition and plan to periodical listen for one can never absorbed 10 percent of it contents.
I highly recommend this book

disappointment

I've read several Stephen Jay Gould books and loved them all. This one, however, I didn't enjoy at all. It isn't about natural history/science/nature and it's just not nearly as insightful and clever as the others I've read.
