Publisher's summary

Intuition is not some magical property that arises unbidden from the depths of our mind. It is a product of long hours and intelligent design, of meaningful work environments, and particular rules and principles. This audiobook shows us how we can hone our instinctive ability to know in an instant, helping us to bring out the best in our thinking and become better decision-makers in our homes, offices, and in everyday life. Just as he did with his revolutionary theory of the tipping point, Gladwell reveals how the power of blink could fundamentally transform our relationships - the way we consume, create and communicate, how we run our businesses, and even our societies. You'll never think about thinking in the same way again.

Most Inspiring Read of the month! Wow!

Never thought about the concept of 'thin slicing' experience in this way and the impact of stereotypes, and the difference time makes! Gladwell
Is a really inspiring read, as always.

Great Concept

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! Great performance by Malcolm, excellently read and a different and intriguing concept

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blink?

Chapters 5 & 6 stood out for me and really tied the book together with great studies on Coca cola, Pepsi, The Amadou Diallo shooting and musician 'Kenna'

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The case study of Amadou Diallo was excellent.

Any additional comments?

Not a Life changer but a solid concept and idea that does help you consciously change your bad thinking habits.. Recommended but not a MUST HAVE for me.

Amazingly written and read.

If you happened to like any of Malcolm Gladwell's books, you will surely like this one. For me , it is even better than the previous ones. I think negative reviews might have been influenced by exceedingly high expectations.

Awesome as always

Malcolm is my favourite. My first book was Outliers and I was so deeply impressed, that I read all his books one by one. Wish he wrote more.

Nice topic! ...but Music is annoying

I like the idea of the book, but sometimes it gets lost in the annoying background music

love it

I enjoyed this book. I want to listen to all of Melcolm's books. I've listened to 3 so far. A great companion on long road trips.

Not as conclusive

Narrator was awesome. But, we thought learning a lot like in "Outliers". It failed terribly.

Abstract Concept!

By the end of the book, I couldn't differentiate / understand the difference between 'Thin Slicing' and Prejudice, Stereotype, Being Judgemental.

The narration was brilliant! Love the concept of Audiobooks.
